★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Potato pancake and cold noodle are great. Suyuk is an excellent choice if u like boiled beef slices. Price is way cheaper than manhattan. Ox tail soup portion is about half compared to Korea. Decent taste. Ask for mustard sauce for those meats.
July 19 · Jon OnTheBeatThe gomtang (beef bone soup) here is honestly amazing — the broth is so rich and flavorful. That said, the smell when we first walked in wasn’t great, and I noticed they were scooping the ice water from a cooler filled with ice and water, which made me a bit concerned about hygiene. Still, the food itself was really delicious.
July 21 · WOOCHIKAOxtail bone broth is very natural tasting . Great atmosphere . Very bland if you’re not used to natural broth. I would definitely recommend . Side dishes were very good .
September 20 · TerryStopped in here during the rainy week, just what we needed. I ordered the spicy beef soup. Everything was delicious, clean, and service was great. Food came out very quick, I'd say under 10 minutes.I appreciated the quieter atmosphere in there too. Trays, bowls and utensils are quality. Presentation of my soup with sides was really pleasant and the soup had plenty of meat and vegetables.Expect a smaller menu, which is what I prefer.
August 09 · Justin FungI am so glad to find a restaurant that’s confident enough in their forte. One page menu, 8 soups, 3-4 appetizers. This kind of restaurant is very difficult to find outside of Korea.Consequently, their end products are excellent. Their main menu item, gomtang - beef broth soup, is probably the best in the East Coast. The complimentary kimchi is perfected ripened and fermented.Interior of the restaurant is nothing to boast about, but who cares? All are reasonably priced and the waitstaff is competent and kind.
