### What is Worth Choosing: Essential Menu Selections
The menu at Good Taste is a treasure trove of Haitian classics, but for the definitive Brooklyn experience, certain dishes are highly recommended.
#### Signature Protein Meals (Pwoteyin)
The Protein Meal section is where the heart of Haitian cuisine lies, featuring perfectly seasoned and cooked meats:
- Griot Kochon (Fried Pork): This is arguably the most famous Haitian dish and a top choice at Good Taste. The pork is marinated, slow-cooked, and then fried to a crispy-tender perfection.
- Tassot Kabrit (Fried Goat): Another essential favorite, featuring savory goat meat that is seasoned and fried. A customer specifically mentioned wanting to come back to try the "Tassot," highlighting its reputation.
- Pwason Snapper Ble / Pwason Rose Fri Snapper: The Fried Fish, often a whole snapper, is a highlight. The Filet Pwason Fri (Fried Fish Fillet) is also a strong choice, known for being tender, crispy, and served with a rich sauce.
#### Traditional Bouillon Soups (Bouyon)
As a restaurant that Serves local specialty, the Bouillons are a must-try, though availability depends on the day:
- Bouyon Joumou Avek Pye Bèf / Bouyon Joumou Avek Poul (Pumpkin Soup with Beef Feet / Chicken): This is the famous Soup Joumou, traditionally eaten on New Year's Day to celebrate Haiti's independence, and it is a rich, hearty pumpkin-based soup. It is prominently featured on the Sunday menu.
- Bouyon Fwi Lanmè Avek Legim (Seafood Bouillon with Vegetables): Available on Friday And Saturday, this is a flavorful, deeply satisfying soup packed with seafood and vegetables. A customer explicitly regretted missing the "fresh daily soup," proving its status as a menu highlight.
#### Homemade Juices
To cut through the richness of the Creole dishes, try one of the house-made juices for refreshment:
- Good Taste Mango Juice / Good Taste Passion Fruit Juice: Classic, sweet, and tangy flavors that perfectly complement the savory food.
- Good Taste Soursop Juice / Good Taste Tamarind Juice: For the adventurous palate, these juices offer distinct, authentic Caribbean flavors that are harder to find elsewhere.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The food was amazing and the service was fast. The service was okay but I could see the workers getting very frustrated with customer requests. The food was fresh and very tasty! The line was to the door when I arrived which made me believe the food was a local favorite spot. First time here and definitely plan on flying back out to try out some stuff I missed like the fresh daily soup and lalo! Prices were amazing and I can’t wait to come back and also tell some folk I know!
November 03 · SymoneThe best Haitian food for me right now in Brooklyn, I eat from there at least twice a week if not more. Those cooks know what they are doing in that kitchen. It's like a home cooked meal to go pretty much. You can't go wrong. 👍🏾👍🏾
August 27 · Joe 360 LapoFood is delicious but customer service is horrible. Cant be arguing with customers and accusing they are lying for no reason. I wish management would take some time to properly train their employees; especially the women with attitude problems.
September 24 · Rood Havelee FahieFood is delicious Nothing else needs to be saidUpdate, went on 10/3. Got the turkey. Giant pieces of skin and fat. almost no meat. They need to work on the line. Waiting 20 min just to pay.
March 28 · bizzy izzyThis location is just as good as the Queens location on Linden Blvd. Just like my review on the other location, Good Taste is the best!
