★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My favorite pizza and Italian restaurant in Long Beach! Their ingredients are always fresh, and the chef consistently prepares everything to perfection. The octopus is so crispy, my favorite. The brick oven personal pizzas are out of this world—so tasty and perfectly crisp! I also love that it's a family-run business that retains most of its employees—such a warm and welcoming place!
June 01 · Sandra ValdebenitoExcellent food!! I’m very critical of Italian food, but this was so fresh and delicious. Drinks were wonderful, service quick and helpful with suggestions. Will definitely return.
July 01 · Ashley GenzaDined here over the holiday weekend. The service is so thoughtful. My sister had made the reservation, and when rain threatened the outdoor seating, Hailey called my sister, and arranged to find room for us indoors in what is a very popular place. Michelle, our server, recommended an excellent bottle of an Italian wine we had never tried. Very reasonably priced, too. Plus, the food is delicious. Loved the chicken parm, meatballs, arugula fennel salad, but my favorite might be the excellent escarole/beans side dish. Our first visit here, but it won't be our last!
July 06 · Megan ONeillFirst, I want to say I would add an extra star for service. Gabby was AWESOME. We arrived on a Saturday evening with no reservations. We are seated as a partial party as two of us were finding parking. The atmosphere inside was a bit loud and chaotic; but fortunately, we were seated outside. It was perfect weather. Service was prompt and attentive. Our orders were taken quickly and the service was quick. Water was never lacking. The food was excellent. No one in our party of 4 had any complaints. We had mussels, octopus, pizza, and chicken parmesan, which was delicious. The pizza was wood fired. While it is not a short distance to travel, we will 100% return to try some of the other menu items. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
July 14 · Mark KrugLovely experience. My wife and I made reservations and sat at the bar. I ordered the ny strip tagliata, an escarole Caesar, and a dirty martini. Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants, and, as much as I'd like to try the rest of the menu- I'm afraid I might HAVE to get the exact same things again because it was that good.
