★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My first experience at Gurumé was outstanding!Food: it may not be the kind that immediately explodes with bold flavors, but it offers a well-balanced, refined taste that feels intentional and safe (in a good way). I have to say my friend and I both loved the WINGS the most! The Black Sesame Bread Pudding was perfection!Drink: the menu is creative, and the flavors are well-balanced & well-paired with the food, which is hard to find these days! Way to go! I tried the namoo & it was so fresh!Service: THIS truly stands out! The host, Adam, and our waiter, Victor, were exceptionally attentive throughout the evening. Honestly, the level of service here surpasses many restaurants I've been to in Manhattan. So grateful!Bonus Points: the bathroom was spotless, and I even got a peek into the kitchen it was well-organized and clean!I've already been recommending Gurumé to friends and will absolutely be back soon. Thank you for a superb experience! :)
August 18 · M.K.We came in with our 2 year old and had a great time. Very friendly service who brought us some extra toddler distractions (an empty plastic bowl, some napkins that expand in water). The food was delish!! The kinchi watermelon and beef and potato dishes were particularly memorable. The sesame banana bread dessert was also delicious. Our only regret was being too full to not try more things
July 26 · Jeanette MathewsAmazing Tapas experience. The food was so good, all plates were so interesting, definitely go with the Steak, the chicken wings and the Pudding, the cocktails also were delicious, Seoul Mule the best, excellent service by Diego. Totally Recommended
May 25 · Diego LWe stumbled upon this new spot while exploring the street and although we'd already eaten, we wanted to check it out because it seemed fun inside. The beverage menu is great, with a good mix of alcohol/non options. I particularly enjoyed their take on an espresso martini with makgeolli. The menu is tapas style, so we ordered a couple of options too snack on. The corn and cheese and everything rice cake were winners. The rice cake dish was like a gnocchi with a cheesey sauce which took a bit to wrap your head around but was still good.Staff were also super friendly and helpful with recommendations.
May 12 · Mel JI usually don’t write reviews but they have the best food in NYC! I have tried many restaurants but definitely this one is impressive and outstanding, from good customer service to delicious and outstanding food and drinks. The fried chicken is so good, very crunchy. Even better than many fried chicken restaurants in Korean Town. The sesame bread pudding is outstanding. I was very surprised. We also had the kimchi fried rice, mushroom taco, … all of them are very good!!!I can’t wait to come back to NYC and try the whole menu!
