★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Harbour Eat inside the Snug Harbour Cultural Centre feels like your typical local eatery simple, quiet, and a convenient spot if you’re already in the area. The food was decent overall. We tried the burger, the fried chicken sandwich (which was quite good, especially with the chipotle mayo), and the chicken nuggets with fries. Portions were fair and it hits the spot if you’re looking for something quick and casual. One thing I did notice was that hygiene could be improved ,I saw the person handling the food wasn’t wearing gloves, which was a little concerning. Also, all the condiments are kept outside in a self-serve style, so you sort of put things together yourself.Overall, it’s not a bad place, especially for a quiet bite during a visit to Snug Harbour, but I’d say it’s more of a casual, no-frills eatery than a dining destination.
August 17 · Kimberly Lim LegaspiHarbor Eats is Snug Harbor's al fresco café that serves delicious and healthy fare throughout the Spring, Summer, and Fall. Here, you can enjoy some light snacks, coffee, tea, sandwiches, burgers, tacos, fries, and much more!My friends and I ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Nuggets with Fries, and the Burger. The Fried Chicken Sandwich was delicious, especially with the chipotle mayo. The chicken nuggets and the fries were pretty standard. Nothing extravagant, but delicious nonetheless. The burger was satisfying as well.My only concern is the hygiene. I do wish the staff members to wear gloves when handling the food. They could had washed their hands before handling the food, but I would feel better if I can see them wearing the proper safety equipments. Not just gloves, but the condiments, napkins, and utensils were out for anyone to use. While I do not think anyone would be rude and unsanitary, it still would ease my mind if they were placed or organized in a more sanitized method.
August 17 · Stephen KGreeted the attendant & looked at the menu. I was ignored. Decided to eat elsewhere & walked away, the attendant uttered "go away". She was an older white lady, looked like she might've had her dentures out. Completely rude. Good luck with this little shack of horror.
September 15 · Jimmy ChiangWe had the hot dog with Cheese at $5 it was pretty affordable and the vibe was fantastic. Plenty of sauce options available. We saw monarch butterflies while we were eating lunch.
September 07 · nishka monteiroThe dad bod burger is amazing and they made me the best knish I have ever had in my life. Great people.
