★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This place is 100% worth the hype! The knafeh pancake is an incredible masterpiece. The pancake itself is similar to a moist cornbread that made love with crunchy knafeh and cheese. I'll definitely be back for more. The lamb shawarma birria was out of this world! The lamb is unbelievably tender and flavorful. I love how cheesey it was and had a bit of a crunch from the toasted markouk.
July 10 · Cody GaholMight be the best shawarma in the city. Got a chicken shawarma supreme which was MASSIVE and delicious. Also got the ramp pesto and cheese pastry from their brunch menu which was unbelievable, such flaky pastry with unbelievable flavors. Place is cute, service is great and very quick. Food is out of this world
June 08 · SaraIf you’re looking for a spot that delivers incredible quality food with bold flavors, The Hen House in NYC is a must-visit. Everything we tried—from the Crunch Wrap to the pancakes—was absolutely amazing. The ingredients tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and the balance of flavors was spot on. Whether you’re in the mood for something crispy and savory or a classic sweet breakfast treat, they’ve got you covered. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal in the city!
March 22 · Ahmad AtiyehI tried the Fried Chicken Sandwich ($16) and thought it was pretty good. The chicken itself was smaller than the bun which was annoying, but the flavors were good and unique. It wasn’t super filling, and for $16 I would expect a bigger sandwich or at least have it come with a side. They also charge a 3% credit card fee.The restaurant itself was nice and clean and the staff is nice.
June 01 · Andy LiuHi Tony, could you please bring back the lamb shawarma with hot honey and cheese? It was the first thing I ordered at Hen House back in May 2024 and I loved it so much I even got another one to go. My mom, who is usually picky about restaurant food, loved it too and I am still thinking about it😭
