★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The cafe section of this establishment is a bit limited due to space, but what they do have coffee-wise is excellent! There are limited seats, but when I went in soon after they opened during the middle of the week, they still had plenty of places to sit.Hive Mind does not have a large food selection so I would recommend planning on just getting a coffee here. The atmosphere is friendly. The prices are normal for the area. I enjoyed my time looking around at the book selection as well as enjoying my latte.
August 20 · Midori GrabowskiBest addition to the neighborhood. Fantastic books, knowledgeable and friendly owners who give great recommendations and nice chats, and the sweet treats and drinks are tasty! (They’re sourced from the same great bakery that most other coffee shops in the area use). Can’t wait for all the events they’ll be hosting. It’s so exciting to have an easy-access and cozy third-space. :)
November 12 · Eloise Leibnitz-ArmstrongWhat a great addition to the neighborhood! The book selection is thoughtful and wonderfully curated. I could easily browse the shelves for hours. The owner is lovely and welcoming. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Also drinks and baked goods are available.
November 01 · Anna LiBeautifully curated queer literature. A welcoming atmosphere. Good coffee, good books! What more could you need? Come support local bookstores!!
June 02 · Brânwyn TantauThis new bookstore and coffee shop is a dream addition to the neighborhood. The collection is jam packed with the usual as well as books I’ve yet to hear of and can’t wait to read, the coffee is really good, and I can’t wait to try their selection of pastries as well. I really love the big windows and table and seating options — as well as WiFi and a restroom! Looking forward to strolling in for a new book or spending an hour or so working on my laptop or journaling — or all of the above. Not to mention the great book club, author chats, and other events such as quiet reading. So exciting to have this space in Bushwick!
