I came to support local businesses in my small town, Ho-Ho-Kus, and discovered that this place offers much better taste, portion sizes, and prices than nearby towns. The salmon teriyaki lunch box includes appetizers, a California roll, miso soup, salad, shumai, rice, and dessert—all for just $15 as a lunch special. It’s absolutely delicious and such a great deal. The staff are incredibly friendly too. This is insane—I love this place!

I have always loved Ho Ho Kus Sushi Cafe! The sushi is always super fresh. If they aren’t that busy, the chef gives a little treat as you wait! The sushi taco was bomb and I added some seaweed salad on top!

The sushi wasn't very fresh. The sushi chef had the pieces precut and in the icebox. There was definitely an off putting taste and aroma to my sashimi pieces. I will not come back.

Joy and her husband have an incredible restaurant and provided excellent service tonight. I have had sushi in many big cities across the country and have never had sushi this good nor had food presented in such a beautiful way! Go dine in, you won’t regret it!
