★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I have to give a huge shout-out to amazing owners of Hunny and their staff! This was my first time trying the place. We always passed by but never had a chance until today, and oh boy, I can't believe I've never tried this place. The food was ridiculously flavorful, and all the spices and sauces were all incorporated so well; the bowls were extremely enjoyable. They didn't have one of the proteins we originally chose, but the owner was so accommodating and sweet, he substituted to another delicious protein, and we couldn't be happier with the choice. I always felt like around here, they lacked the variety of food choices, but I couldn't be happier that more food places opened with healthier and flavorful options. I really appreciated the warm hospitality; everyone was extremely friendly and nice. I hope everyone can try it at least once so they can see how wonderful this Korean fusion food is. We certainly will be back! 사장님들, 번창하세요!
May 12 · Hanna LeeUnfortunately, the Hoffman St location is no longer open so I tried this location at the mall on 161st St, $40 of regret and a stomach ache. The food I ordered was absolutely subpar, clumps of old soggy rice, recooked dry tough to chew clumps of chicken, barely any Hulk sauce in the bowl, and no fries in the Dubbap bowl (which it always came with at the Hoffman St location). The extra Hulk Sauce I ordered exploded with air upon opening and had a watery consistency and strange taste which is not normal for this sauce (it’s the best most popular sauce they offer). Lastly, the Pork Mandoo was burnt and too crispy to eat. I don’t like throwing away food but I couldn’t even eat 1/3 bowls nor eat the Mandoo. Very disappointing considering how delicious the food from the Hoffman St location was.Unless the Hoffman St location reopens, I will not purchase from Hunny again. See my review for the other location for comparison.
May 25 · F TaylorFinally, delivery in the Bronx that isn't just fried chicken, burgers, or pizza. The rice bowls are fresh, flavorful, and arrive hot. Generous portions that are well-seasoned make this a welcome change from the usual takeout options.
May 29 · John NievesI used to order this food through Doordash when it was an hour away from this restaurant. Now that its near me I can say with confidence that eating this food in person is even better! Their shrimp and chicken taste amazing and their Kirby and Black Adam sauce are great in their own right. Their toppings are good too. Tried the Corn, lettuce and cheese and complimented the food they offer quite well. There are more toppings than what I listed, so I'd definitely give it a try as there are quite a few options for building your bowl. 10/10 :)
February 01 · Jesus LaraThis has become the new spot me and my coworkers go to. The food is always well prepared and delicious. The owner is always friendly and engaging. Welcome to bronx terminal. I get a rice bowl everyday for lunch. Everything I've tried has been fresh and tasty. The chicken the steak the shrimp. O.g the kimchi corn and the sauces are all insanely good. My faves are the Kirby, hulk & Wanda sauces!
