★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1@wellhowwasit ??? The Bed-Stuy/Bushwick area isn’t big on Caribbean food that’s why I’m always thrilled when I order from Jamaican Flavors. I love a good patty, each one has its own unique flavor with delicate flaky crust. I usually order four or five different patties each time 🫣. I always wash it down with the house made pineapple ginger and a Caribbean punch (started ordering the large because the regular wasn’t enough 😆). Both the drinks are refreshing and pack a PUNCH of ginger. Last but not least the boneless jerk chicken sandwich is my favorite hidden gem on the menu. The chicken is tender, well seasoned and the sauce compliments gentle sweetness of the bread. I finish my order with a slice of rum & raisin cake 🤤 because there’s always room for cake.
August 06 · Chris AsteriskCant speak to the food waited over an hour for take out and canceled over $40 worth of food. I can't do disorganization and poor customer service. Luckily there are tons of other jamaican food spots in BK and NYC. Skip it for lack of having their stuff together. Will never order from here.
September 13 · Zakiyah DavisLittle flavour, lots of attitude. Served up nearly an hour after ordering for pick up and half an hour after it was supposed to be ready. Salad served up without dressing. No napkins, no cutlery. Am I coming back? No thank you!
August 30 · Nina CorinNot a typical Jamaican food spot, the ladies out front are nice. I usually get saltfish and bakes, sorrel or chicken soup when they have it. There's usually a line at lunch time so I bet that means the food is good. I enjoy what I purchase thoroughly. I hope 🙏🏾 they keep the breakfast menu for the summer
May 15 · Erica MillerThis neighborhood gem elevates Jamaican cuisine with authentic flavors and exceptional value. Their flaky, flavorful patties outshine chain competitors, while specialties like ackee and saltfish transport you straight to the Caribbean. The lunch special featuring bone-in jerk chicken at just $11 delivers remarkable quality and satisfaction. Though lines form during peak hours, the incredibly warm staff led by Alex creates a welcoming atmosphere that keeps locals returning multiple times weekly. From homemade pineapple ginger drinks to perfectly executed classics, this clean, friendly establishment has quickly become an essential community fixture.
