★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Was there on Memorial day for my husband. We ordered chicken enchiladas $16 and fish tacos $14 also a bottle water for $2 the food was fine. When asked for checking the bill said if paid by credit card would add up to 36.xx so I paid cash $40 (total plus tax supposed to be $34.24) the waitress who looked like a senior there gave me back 3.xx as if we paid by credit card (not to mention it’s my money and she took it out of my side but returned the change on my husband’s) so I informed her that I paid cash she was mumbling something about it’s holiday, no lady, no matter what day it was, you suppose to give me back $5.76 if so, I would put more extra few bucks for the tips which usually everywhere we went I always tip 20-25% no matter with happy or sad services. But because of the dishonest so I left 3.xx for the tips if she wanted she could have the rest out of the draw. Thanks to self I love reading so I saw every note on the bill.
May 26 · Pan TR$17.55 for a “pan con chicharrón” that has absolutely nothing of the real thing. To begin with, that bread is a hamburger bun. It has no sweet potato… and in the photo you can see the 4 pieces of onion they put. 3 chunks of pork full of fat. Terrible! If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Never again will I order anything from this place. AWFUL! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
September 07 · FlaviaChef’s Kiss!!! Came here for lunch one day and was pleasantly surprised. The ceviche de chicharron was something I’m going to crave. All three entrees we ordered were made with love. Like no short cuts. Also it’s run by a husband and wife couple which I love so much. Go support your local small businesses out there. And you deserve some really good food! We will be back.
June 16 · Christine KimCame here on a Friday night to celebrate my birthday with 8 people. I called a few hours before and Jardín Latino was able to accommodate me.When we arrived we were the only ones there. I’m truly shocked because the service and the food is delicious and filling. The portions are shareable in my opinion. ( or I might just be getting old ☺️) . However, throughout the night people did come in for dinner and takeout. There is only one waiter and she was phenomenal. Attentive, patient and helpful. The menu is quite unique. There’s Hispanic dishes for everyone. Columbian, Cuban, Dominican, Peruvian etc. We each ordered something different and enjoyed ourselves.I would certainly go back if I’m ever in the area. Clean, and cozy restaurant! I’m glad I was able to have an intimate birthday dinner with my family! Thank you Jardín Latino!
December 28 · Esther PI really wanted to like this place badly. There is no place nearby to buy Peruvian food without going into Paterson. They offer a mix of dishes from different central and South American countries. I ordered chaufa and it was the saltiest food or one of the saltiest I have had in my life. The chaufa pertaining to the rice was not made correctly as well. Very poor quality. I only ate one third of it. I took the rest home... I literally threw in a cup and a half of white rice the next day and it still tasted very salty! I've never experienced that in my life from the many other places I've eaten at. We ordered churros and the churros was not fully cooked and some of the batter was still in the middle. We were confused as maybe we thought it was a filling but it wasn't. It was missing some sweetness as well Compared to many other places I've had it at and making it at home. The others were okay with their dishes but they mentioned they probably wouldn't come back. Very very disappointed.... And won't be returning.
