Food was delicious! We ate in with our toddler, and the staff was really friendly and accommodating. We started with the dip sampler and I had the Kavos Souvlaki—honestly one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while.A few highlights:• Food was super fresh• The pita was warm, soft, and practically melted in your mouth• The pita-to-food ratio was perfect (as a big bread person, I really appreciated not having to ask for extra!)The only downside was that the baklava seemed store-bought, but everything else was fantastic—great portions, great service, and overall a wonderful experience.

The food is delicious the times I have been there. The lamb chops are amazing. But the last time I was there I had the Kavos feta appetizer and it was very salty, even with the honey they put on top. Also, the Keftedakia, meat balls with a feta dip, that too was very salty. I had those appetizer before and they were not as salty. Not sure why they were so salty this time. For the most part, the food is great. The fried calamari were delicious!!

Our first visit to this establishment. Based on previous reviews, I concur. The food, service and atmosphere is very good. Plates this evening were fried zucchini, Greek Wrap, Vegetable Platter and Brook Trout. If you like Greek or Mediteranean type food, you must try Kavos. I believe you will enjoy.

I traveled to Greece at the beginning of summer and since I've been back I really wanted authentic Greek food and this restaurant hit the spot. When I walked into the restaurant to pick up my food it reminded me of Athens. The gyro was just wonderful. It was packed with so much flavor and the Greek salad was amazing.

Delicious food and welcoming staff. We usually order the quinoa salad plus salmon (for my husband), and the class gyro combo for me (with lemon potatoes). Super fresh, well-presented, and delicious. Convenient to hiking trails in the Harriman area. Thank you for the baklava treats!
