★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Lovely space! I have been here twice. It reminds me of the little coffee shops that are wholesome, small but very high quality in Rome, Italy. Last time I was here first, I bought an iced matcha and it was excellent. Well made. And I received a compliment on my skirt and shoes too which was nice. Second time I came, this morning, I got a fig bar and it’s great. Reminds me of those Spanish fig/date cakes with almonds and such. Very moist, nutty flavor and fruity. Perfect balance. Almost like a jelly oatmeal bar you’d get in the morning but this is with figs gives you that nice sweetness. Highly recommend! 😋
April 05 · Hannah BrownA small spot to grab coffee! Pretty neat.Cappuccino was not creamy, unfortunately. But the coffee flavor was good. Great balance with bright fruity notes, brownish deep hints mixing with milk.I would try black coffee next time just for the beautiful coffee taste.
October 11 · Julia HBeautifully decorated small cafe near Penn Station. The interior designer really did a great job. The finishes make you feel like you entered another decade. The food and coffee itself isn’t great. It might be because of the milk they used but my iced vanilla oat milk latte was borderline good. The vanilla flavoring is the same standard flavoring Starbucks or other non-speciality cafes use. There is no depth to the vanilla and it tastes artificial. The oat milk they use is too watery and not rich enough to complement the taste of the espresso. As for the dessert, the chocolate chip cookie is very soft but is slightly strange in chew. Also, it is very sweet for a cookie (which may work for others but does not work for me). There are some window seats as well as some seats with tables in the back but I’m not sure if there are restrooms as it shares the entrance with a hotel/apartment.
March 08 · Casual FoodieChaga is great here! Cute spot in a hotel lobby to work out of. Not too busy on weekdays.
August 20 · Riya GoelI would come back here just bc the barista was the sweetest person. She went out of her way to suggest options and was consistently just a breath of freah air in our dingy NYC. I wish her all the success :) Coffee shop was tucked away and perfect for finishing up work, coming in from Penn Station and heading to the next thing.
