★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 110-15 years ago the food was tasty, the place stayed crowded the nicest people. However there food is trash now. I remember I ordered food over the summer of 2024 and the food was old tasting and one of the plates of food was completely sour the next day. I called and even brought one of the plates of food back that hadn't been touched and complained and requested my money back. I was told maybe something was wrong with my refrigerator and became insulted. I was then later told I could come in and get my $13 back but I never went back to get it. I was just that disappointed that I let them keep $13. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!

July 30 · Somaria EdwardsThe food I got, in terms of taste, wasn't the worst but wasn't the best. I've realized that many restaurants don't actually know how to cook General Tso's, they just refry the premade stuff any old way, add (sometimes poorly made) sauce, and sell it. I always know it won't be great when it's bright, not darker, red like food coloring was added. My review really isn't focused on the food and might be too long for some, so I put some asterisks (**) next to the part with a helpful tip for potential customers. Here are really the main reasons for my review (I usually only leave reviews for especially good experiences or bad ones):**The cashier told me something came with the order after I asked, but when I found the price was higher than expected and questioned it, she told me the item she initially said came with the meal actually didn't and was an extra charge so I didn't get it. Then she tried to do the same thing to a women who came in and ordered after me. Check the price and make sure you're not being overcharged or tricked into add-ons. I don't appreciate having my intelligence insulted.--The $10 "lunch special" was not a special at all, but a very small black round plastic bowl some restaurants now use to sell less and charge more, which they think they're fooling people with. I'm not a heavy eater and was hungry about two hours later.SIDE NOTE: I've lived in the neighborhood for years but had only eaten from there once before because of rude behavior I'd previously encountered. But I wanted hot food to go that could be ready after I came out of the grocery store because I was going to be too busy to cook later and still ended up having to cook, which disrupted my well-planned out work and study day. She wasn't rude this time but another experience like this is enough for me not to return.Additional note: They, along with other similar restaurants, need to stop the cash-only nonsense and pay their share of taxes and contribute to society instead of just taking from it. Restaurants like these are seeing an obvious decline in business because besides their food being overpriced now and not the healthiest, many people are also aware of the cash-only scheme and are thoroughly annoyed at being inconvenienced to give them business for it. The men sitting outside, either doing shady business or just being unproductive citizens, make me think the restaurant's doing something like that food stamp scam many similar restaurants used to do. It's 2024 and they're still pretending there's a legitimate reason they don't take credit or even debit, with the latter being almost no cost and zero risk to them. The blatant cash-only tax evasion scam (no one likes taxes but this is ridiculous and antiquated (outdated and overdone)) is another reason I avoid restaurants like this.
May 16 · U AEdit: I dont order here anymore, because the foods actually really bad if you think about it. It tastes really sloppy, old, and looks slimy. The service is great, the lady and the chefs in the back are working really hard so I appreciate it, the service is well. Its a really small place though so of course the atmosphere would be uncomfortable.
