All the dishes we had were amazing - starting with the fish with oranges which was absolutely stunning and refreshing, such a great way to kick off the meal.The main dishes like the aubergine and sushi rolls were fantastic too. But honestly, the corn dish was absolutely delicious! It’s such a smart way to present the dish - they made it look so artistic and creative. And get this - they even turned it into ice cream that looked like a corn roll! You can still taste the corn but it’s ice cream.Highly recommend this place and definitely suggest making a reservation ahead of time
July 06 · Han LOverall, the food was satisfying. However, the sushi rice was too sticky, making it hard to eat all of it in one gulp. The Toro Uni Shari was the best dish. However, it was too noisy, and the price of the food that came out was too high. The service wasn’t outstanding because our family waited more than an hour for some dishes. The food order wasn’t good either. The sushi and the Toro Uni Shari came out 40 minutes before the main dish came out. Also, our family thought rice would come with the katsu, but there wasn't. I think that was an error. It was hard to talk with my family because it was chaos. The air conditioner was like BROKEN. It was too hot there, so we thought we should get out before the main dish came out. I would say this is a pretty good restaurant, but it needs quite a few changes. It would be nice to come back a few times but wouldn’t mind.

June 09 · A ShenWe made reservations online, which was super easy. Friends had recommended Konban. When we arrived, I admired the warm and inviting atmosphere with simple yet elegant decor. The staff was friendly and warm. We had some recommendations from friends but also got recommendations from our server. We ended up ordering the corn rib, mackerel sushi, ebi katsu, pork tenderloin katsu, bronzino with mushroom, and mazemen noodles. I can’t choose a favorite; there were too many I enjoyed. The corn ribs have an addicting powder on them-so delicious! The katsus were juicy and moist in the inside and crispy and crunchy on the outside. The mackerel sushi was a hit! It was not fishy at all ( we had our suspicions) but so flavorful- another one I’d order again. The bronzino dish had a broth that had umami flavor that paired well with both the fish and the flavorfully grilled mushrooms.Every dish had great presentation, wanting us to take pictures. The service was excellent with our main server being very attentive and knowledgeable but also other servers all friendly.We had a great experience and will definitely be back with other friends. This place definitely was worth the hype.
