★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Stopped in yesterday for some scones and coffee, and will definitely be coming back. Had a great chat with Ryan during my short stay, and loved his dry sense of humor. The scones were great, and the coffee was delicious, thanks Ryan!
September 18 · grey pellizziI used to enjoy this coffee shop. The baristas were once very welcoming. I used to enjoy sitting here doing work on my computer or spending time with friends. Cute spot and decent chai. However sometime in 2024 I began to notice frequent change overs in staffing. This all seemed to coincide when the male barista/manager in the beanie began here. Since then, I’ve notice the vibe change here dramatically. What used to be a welcoming coffee shop became a spot I’d avoid. I have stopped in very infrequently since this change and only ever when I’ve had a guest from out of town with me who was desperate for a non-Starbucks cup of coffee. And honestly each of my guests all told me we didn’t have to go back there. They would prefer to wait for a coffee until getting to midtown because they felt uncomfortable at Kuro Kirin after experiencing the creepy stares and rude interactions from the man in the beanie.
July 05 · Jes AguilarLovely coffee shop! If you’re in the area, it’s worth stopping by. I got an iced honey latte which was not too sweet, and a cinnamon bun which was so good! Flaky, tasty, I loved it.Service was 10/10. And very calm atmosphere, with some cute decorations!
November 19 · MarineI love the cold brew here! It’s very refreshing and a great pick me upper to start the day! I’ve also tried their matcha latte and I can honestly say it’s one of the best ones I’ve had since moving. The baristas are very kind and engaging and are willing to share their knowledge about coffee and just are nice to talk to. Perfect for reading a book and people watching too especially when you sit by the window and bonus for being so close to work. Definitely a gem!
December 05 · Patricia SandicoStopped by this cafe before heading to met cloister, coffee was outstanding. Definitely a hidden gem for good coffee drinks.❤️☕️🥛Cappuccino was creamy and rich. Foam was really smooth.
