★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Chocolate croissant ($6.75 + tax): this was really good. The croissant had a great buttery flavor and was very fresh and light. The chocolate filling had a very runny consistency but had a good texture and cocoa-forward flavor. The chocolate coating had more of a milky flavor. Sweet but not cloying. Altogether it tasted very good, my only complaint is that the croissant, though fresh, wasn’t crispy or crunchy. Also between the liquid filling and sticky chocolate coating, this was very messy to eat.White chrysanthemum cake ($10.50 + tax): the exterior was like a thick vanilla custard, and the interior contained a berry compote and crispy cookie, in addition to the graham cracker-y square it was served on. Obviously this was very beautiful. The many flavors and textures of the individual components worked together very well, though I found the custard to be a little gelatinous and dense. Overall very good, but the price was very high for the size (small).Service was quick and staff were very friendly. I do wish they had a little more variety of baked goods (when I was there they just had assorted croissants and the little mousse cakes), but that may just have been because it was their first week of operation.Overall very good quality and worth checking out.
September 19 · JackSuch a wonderful addition to the neighborhood! Grabbed some dessert to go and noticed they have a full menu and cocktail options!! Can’t wait to be back. As far as the dessert go, 10/10 for their tres leche/flan and passion fruit options.
September 15 · Mary JThis place is a gem in Inwood. Beautiful exterior and interior. And the pastries are works of art. They are so beautiful and amazingly delicious! They also have way above average butter croissants and savory sandwiches. Coffee is also great. It’s a must!
September 17 · Peggy SelfJust stopped by this place for the first time... Never had the opportunity to eat here. They joyfully greeted some people and literally refused to even welcome me to their establishment. Not sure what that's about BUT... being unwilling to speak to me equals no cents from me.
September 18 · more than you knowI was drawn in by the beautiful pastries which are pretty unique to the area, however 3 pastries in total was around $34. I got a croissant with strawberries and cream ($8.99) for my husband, and a chocolate tart ($9.99), along with a mango mousse ($11.50) for us to share. It was my first time visiting, there are no prices listed for the desserts. My favorite was the mango mousse which was refreshing, it has pieces of mango inside! The hazelnut tart had a layer of passionfruit jelly inside which I didn’t expect as it was mainly described as chocolate ganache and hazelnut. It has a somewhat creamy/gelatinous pudding kind of consistency, coated with a chocolate shell, I’m not sure if I noticed the hazelnut flavor. I wasn’t too fond of the surprise fruit flavor, I was hoping for just chocolate hazelnut as described but if you enjoy the fruit flavors definitely try it out.
September 22 · StephI came in today and this place is amazing. Total game changer. I went to the one on Jerome and the food and desserts are good but the location is small and it took us a while to get seated and then eat. It was very crowded but this location is not like that. Spacious, clean, beautiful! They have desserts and they have wait staff. The food here is amazing, the service is top notch and the place is clean! I will def be returning. My hairstylist and best friend both are in the area so i will be a regular
