★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1If you are an enthusiast of the ramen trend, this establishment is highly recommended. The ambiance is traditional, pristine, and comforting. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive to our needs. The food was enjoyable, considering the context. We ordered prawns that were fresh and quite sizable. The chicken ramen bowl was satisfying, and the broth was notably flavorful. Additionally, we were served dessert, specifically matcha pudding, which was likely one of the highlights of the menu. However, I did not find the cherry blossom jelly with honey to be to my taste, as I found it somewhat overpowering. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience with friends, and I would certainly consider visiting again.
May 08 · Eneri VenegasStumbled in here late last night, quite blazed, and I was blown away! I ordered the Sapporo Miso Ramen with the pork bun and the thai iced tea. The service was pretty quick, and the atmosphere felt a lot like a traditional ramen shop. The staff was friendly too.Anyways, the food. This was one of my favorite bowls of ramen I've tried in NYC! The broth was rich, creamy, and packed with porky flavor. The savory undertone from the miso pushed it even further into deliciousness, without overpowering any of the subtler flavors or making the broth overly salty. The chashu was absolutely unbelievable, the fatty parts completely melted in my mouth, and the lean was extremely tender, juicy, and flavorful! Easily one of the most tender pieces of chashu I've had, next time I come here I need to order extra! The noodles were also awesome, suuuper chewy and wavy. They retained their bouncy texture really well even after sitting in the hot broth for some time. The wakame and bamboo shoots were nice additions too, adding some textural variety and flavor. I just really think they nailed every aspect of the bowl, nothing felt underwhelming and the synergy of the toppings with the broth was wonderful. The iced tea was sweet, and served as the perfect accompaniment to the rich and savory ramen. The bun was also great, with tender pork and a squishy dough.I can't recommend this place enough, and they're open late too! If you like ramen definitely come try out Kyuramen, I think you'll love it! I'll be back.
September 02 · Firestrike⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️My dad and I visited KyuRamen in Union Square for the first time, and it was a fantastic experience! I had the omurice for the second time, and it was just as comforting and flavorful as I remembered — perfectly cooked rice wrapped in a fluffy omelet with a savory sauce. We also tried the matcha pudding for the first time, which was creamy, smooth, and had a lovely balance of earthy matcha flavor and sweetness. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely a great spot for a casual meal with family. Can’t wait to come back and try more!
August 10 · Evelyn VelazquezCute interior setup and quick, efficient employees. The original omurice with a demi glaze sauce was delicious. I wish the rice was seasoned a little more but that is just a personal preference. Still delicious. You have to get the combo with an iced Thai tea as well. Not too sweet and so good. I have never had purple yam fries before and I absolutely loved them. I really want to try the ramen next time! Now for my standard comments. There is comfortable seating. This location is clean and well kept.
May 09 · Christine LGreat experience. Attentive, expedient, and courteous service. Short wait time, as we were walk-ins. Intimate seating, and even more exclusive dining in the rear booths of the establishment. Nice touch for date night or dine-in meeting vs. an impromptu drop-in with friends for example. Clean, well kept, though the restroom could use attention more frequently. The food was great, fresh and flavorful. The popcorn chicken was dark meat, not my forte, and was also a first for me. Lastly, the vegetable broth was everything, which I preferred over the chicken after the fact. Unfortunately, it gave my son a bit of a headache, so we packed it up. His leftovers, same effect, though still flavorful. Overall, we still had a good experience.
