What is Worth Choosing
L'imprimerie is worth choosing for the New York resident seeking an authentic European experience delivered with Brooklyn character and quality. If your culinary priority is high-level craftsmanship and traditional technique, this is where you need to be.
The absolute must-try items—the products that have earned the bakery its exceptional reputation—are the Croissants and the Artisanal Breads. Patrons often describe the croissants as being on the "crispy side," providing a texture and butter content that is hard to find outside of France. Whether it's the classic *Croissant au Beurre* or a savory option like the *Croissant Jambon Fromage*, the foundation of the pastry is unmatched. For bread lovers, the large, round country loaf, known as the Miche (made with a naturally leavened, three-day process), is an investment worth making for fantastic savory sandwiches at home, as one customer highlights its incredible moisture and hint of salt.
Beyond the baked goods, L'imprimerie is a unique choice because it effortlessly serves multiple needs. It’s the perfect spot for a dedicated work session thanks to the comfortable amenities and Wi-Fi, or an essential stop for an inclusive, welcoming cafe atmosphere. Moreover, the extensive and high-quality Vegan restaurant offerings, which include pastries that "do not taste vegan," make this a superior option for plant-based diners who are often overlooked in traditional French patisseries. L'imprimerie is, ultimately, a high-quality slice of French baking culture warmly embraced by the diverse community of Bushwick.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I swear their plain croissants have been really inconsistent over the past year. At first I thought it was different baker’s hands, but now looks and tastes like store bought.
March 31 · Ken Liu2️⃣definitely improved!✨The swirl-shaped pastry was great! So soft in the center with crispy layers outside.💛💛💛The white bread I got was FIRE❤️🔥 It was so moist with seeded outside and a hint of salt. Great for savory sandwiches.Great collections of croissants! Many options both for sweet and savory. I’m happy to find this place in this area. Worth to try if you are around.I’m wondering if it’s because of their recipe, their croissants are more on the crispy side. As a result I won’t recommend reheat again. The inside part will somehow lose the softness.I will give 4.3 for the food but added to 5 because of creative items and friendly staff.
April 26 · Julia HL’imprimerie has quickly become my favorite French vegan bakery in all of NYC. I regularly make the trip from the Bronx just for their vegan chocolate chip cookies, which are hands down the best I’ve ever had. They’re perfectly soft, chocolatey, and not too sweet. I also tried their vegan chocolate and almond croissant on the recommendation of a team member, and it was incredible. Plus, their coffee is delicious. The customer service is superb, and the shop has a chill environment that’s perfect for working or hanging out, with great tunes playing in the background. I highly recommend this bakery if you’re serious about vegan treats and are looking for sweet and savory options. They also offer a variety of vegan quiches and sandwiches, which I haven’t tried yet but definitely plan to!
September 19 · Marquis BThis Bakery is a 💎. It is located between Bushwick and Ridgewood. It is very close to Public Transportation and definitely worth a trip. They have some outside seating. It isn't a big place but it's not super small neither. They have a nice variety of items, including vegan ones and items you might not find so easily in other bakeries. I took home 2 Cherry Clafoutis, which I hadn't seen in other bakeries. My mom and I loved it. It was one of the best desserts we ever had. I'm not from the neighborhood but I will definitely go back to get more of their treats.
August 21 · Vivianne BarrettoOne of the best croissants I've ever had in my life. It was freshly baked in house that morning and had a tiny, almost unnoticeable amount of sweetened egg wash on top. Croissant was small and was lightly doughy on the inside and had a crisp outside.Quiche was pretty good too. They have a lot of vegan options of you're into that but the regular pastries are made with real butter babyDrop coffee is really bad though.
