★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Bugs in Food and Manager lady yells at us.We’ve been loyal customers of La Villa for a while, but after our latest experience, we won’t be returning. My wife ordered for delivery a grandma pie, a large Caesar salad, and a small one. Total? $60. Unfortunately, upon opening the large salad, she found a bug right on top. She was disgusted and lost her appetite immediately.I called the manager to inform her of the situation, hoping they’d take responsibility and issue a full refund. Instead, she insisted that bugs can occasionally "make it through" in lettuce and would only refund the salad. I explained that finding a bug in our food was not acceptable, especially for the price we paid, and requested a full refund since the experience was thoroughly ruined. To my shock, the manager argued that there was “no reason” to refund the pizza because the sauce is acidic and a bug "wouldn't survive in it." She even went as far as to accuse me of trying to "scam" them out of the $60! When I asked to speak with the owner, Frank, she refused and claimed he would agree with her stance. Throughout the call, she was rude, confrontational, and dismissive of our concerns. If you’re thinking of ordering from La Villa, beware. The management seems to have lost both quality control and respect for their customers. I expected at least an apology or an offer to make things right, but instead was met with hostility. It’s a shame to see a once-great spot lose its standards. I’d suggest supporting businesses that actually value their customers.
November 07 · OrLoMost amazing parmigiana and very friendly staff! This was more than lunch stop for me. I travelled from Utah to stop by this location as this was the exact location of my grandfather’s pizzeria in the 60’s (different restaurant). I wanted to sit, have lunch, and soak in the views & vibes as corny as that sounds. Turns out, the food & atmosphere here was great. I met Frank the owner who was super friendly, and waitress Sydney who was on-top of her game in the middle of the lunch-rush. The chicken parmigiana and Arancini (rice balls) were delicious! Most certainly enjoyed my lunch experience and will be back when in NY in the future!
October 19 · John LOur server Nikita was amazing, so attentive, sweet, helpful, and provided such great service. I came here for dinner with a party of 7 for my birthday and had a wonderful time. I ordered the alla vodka with rigatoni and my group shared two large wood fired pizzas (one speciale, one vegetale). These are definitely must haves! This is my first time at this location but I have been to two other La Villa locations. I always have a good time at La Villa and I get great service and great food every time!
October 20 · HugglesWonderful service & super attentive waiter (thank you Nikita!) Great food and very generous portions!!!! 🥰 We will definitely be back!!! 💖
October 19 · Yessenia FabianPark Slope and Marine Park location is best. Dyker location needs improvement. Food varies depending on what you order. Not all entrees are great. Pizza and calzones are best. Salads are hit or miss. The specials are good but way overpriced like the soup. I’d recommend a pasta dish over any of the meat choices. I’m an avid diner at all 3 locations for years. Parking lot in 2 out of 3 locations is a plus.
