Little Italy Pizza Introduce
In a city where pizza is a way of life, finding a slice that feels both authentic and comforting is a true win. Little Italy Pizza on the Upper West Side is one of those places. This classic New York establishment delivers a no-frills, delicious experience that has made it a favorite among locals, college students, and tourists alike. With a vast selection of pies and a welcoming, casual atmosphere, it embodies the spirit of a true neighborhood pizzeria.
Little Italy Pizza isn't just a place to grab a quick slice; it's a destination for solid, reliable Italian and pizza classics. The menu offers a wide variety of options, from traditional cheese and pepperoni pies to more creative creations. Their approach is simple: great ingredients, classic recipes, and a focus on providing a satisfying meal. As one customer noted, the pizza is "delicious and fresh," with fast service and fair prices, which is a rare combination in New York City. The friendly staff and efficient service make it an easy and pleasant stop, whether you're dining in or grabbing a slice to go.
The "Pizza" section of the menu is where Little Italy Pizza truly shines. You can grab a single Slice Of Pizza for a quick bite, or order a full pie to share with a group. The variety is impressive, with options like the classic Cheese Pizza and Pepperoni Pizza, as well as specialty pies like the Grandma Pizza, known for its thin crust and flavorful sauce. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can try something like the Baked Ziti Pizza or the White Broccoli Pizza, which combine two Italian comfort foods into one delicious meal. The Fresh Mozzarella Pizza is also a popular choice for those who appreciate a quality, simple pie.
Beyond the pizza, the "Italian Specialties" menu offers a selection of hearty rolls and calzones. The Chicken Roll and Pepperoni Roll are perfect for a filling, portable meal, while the Cheese Calzone is a warm, doughy delight stuffed with gooey cheese. These items are a fantastic alternative to pizza and showcase the restaurant's commitment to classic Italian-American fare. The Garlic Knots are also a must-try, often praised by customers as a perfect snack to complement any meal.
Little Italy Pizza's appeal also lies in its accessibility and long hours. It's a reliable spot for a late-night bite, catering to the city that never sleeps. The casual atmosphere makes it a great spot for groups of friends or a solo meal. Its reputation as a dependable, classic pizza joint is well-earned, and it's a place that continues to draw customers back for its delicious food and simple charm.

---## What is Worth Choosing?
When you're in New York and craving an authentic, unpretentious pizza experience, Little Italy Pizza is a choice you won't regret. What truly sets this place apart is its perfect balance of traditional offerings, convenient service, and a dependable quality that has made it a favorite in the neighborhood. It’s a quintessential NYC pizza joint that delivers on all fronts, whether you're a local or just passing through.
The variety of their pizza slices is a major selling point. Instead of being limited to a single option, you can mix and match to create your perfect meal. A classic cheese slice is always a great choice—simple, gooey, and with a satisfying crust. However, the Grandma Pizza is a standout and a must-try for any pizza enthusiast. Its unique, crispy thin crust and fresh, chunky tomato sauce set it apart from other pies. For those who love a hearty, savory slice, the Meatball Pizza or the Baked Ziti Pizza offer a fulfilling and flavorful experience that is quintessentially Italian-American comfort food.
Beyond the pizza, the Italian Specialties are also worth exploring. The Garlic Knots are a popular choice for a reason; they are the perfect buttery, garlicky side dish that complements any meal. The generously sized Chicken Roll or Sausage And Peppers Roll are a meal in themselves, offering a comforting and delicious alternative to pizza. These items are a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to providing a full range of Italian comfort foods.
Another compelling reason to choose Little Italy Pizza is its value for money. As one customer mentioned, the prices are "fair value for money for NYC," which is a significant factor in a city known for its high costs. You can get a delicious, filling meal without breaking the bank. The fast service also makes it a practical choice for a quick lunch or dinner when you don't have time for a sit-down meal. This blend of quality, affordability, and convenience makes Little Italy Pizza a reliable and beloved fixture on the Upper West Side, a place you can always count on for a good slice of New York.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Some pizzas are better than the others, overall pretty decent pizzas, slices could be a little bigger, that said, it's fair value for money for NYC. As a tourist if you take a little longer to gather your bearings and order, the staff can be a little curt, especially the fellow at the till. They have a fair variety of pizzas, that's why it can take a little longer to decide what you want if you are new to the place!
September 08 · Awini Ambuj ShankerDelicious and fresh pizza! Service was fast and prices ok. Highly recommended 👍🏻
April 24 · Valentina VareliStill my favorite late night place in town. Open late - until 5am. Can't resist the best deal in town. 2 large slices and a fountain drink for $6.95. Nice Thin crust with a good sauce and cheese. Always cooked to the point of bubbling cheese. No table service, just walk up to the counter and order. There are a few tables inside and outside. Super casual.
June 14 · A.L. HarrisI had a moment where my card wasn’t working and I didn’t have cash — and instead of turning me away, the staff told me not to worry, gave me my pizza, and just asked that I trade a cup for the soda. That kind of trust and generosity is rare these days. I’ve been coming here for a while, and while I’ve had moments of impatience (they move fast!), I’ve come to realize they are some of the kindest, hardest-working people around. They treat everyone — students, business folks, locals — with warmth and respect. They recently renovated, and the place looks great, but the heart of it has always been the people and the food. Open late, always reliable, and run by genuinely good humans. Highly recommend.
