Live Long Juice Bar Introduce
For New Yorkers seeking genuinely healthy, plant-based options in Queens, Live Long Juice Bar stands as a vibrant and highly-rated destination. Located in Jamaica, NY, this establishment proudly identifies as a Black-owned business and operates as both a dedicated Juice shop and a comprehensive Vegan restaurant. It has successfully created a niche for itself by offering a robust, health-focused menu that blends the best of fresh, whole ingredients with savory, comforting vegan food options, all within a welcoming and accessible environment.
The core philosophy of Live Long Juice Bar is evident in its menu structure, which prioritizes liquid nutrition and detox with a playful, localized flair. Customers can choose from a wide array of signature juices and smoothies. The juice selection features custom blends with engaging names like "Live Long," "On The Go," and "5pm On The Block," many of which incorporate beneficial ingredients like turmeric, ginger, and beet to provide specific health benefits, such as boosting energy and fighting inflammation. For those targeting specific wellness goals, the "Detox Me" section offers high-potency blends, including “The Detoxifier” (known for promoting liver health) and “The Golden” (an anti-inflammatory blend of kale, carrots, and turmeric).
The smoothie offerings are equally popular, with customer favorites like the "King Yatta" (a potent mix of banana, blueberries, spinach, almond butter, coconut milk, and chocolate protein) and the "Berry Blast." A signature feature praised by patrons is the freshness and quality of these drinks, though one reviewer did note a specific bowl was "very sweet and very small for the price," suggesting that ingredient balance may vary across the menu. Beyond the drinks, the establishment offers powerful liquid supplements in the form of "Immunity Shots" like the "Cold & Flu" shot (ginger, lemon, and cayenne) and "Austin Powers" (turmeric and lemon), catering to the proactive health needs of busy New Yorkers.
Crucially, Live Long Juice Bar transcends the typical juice shop by offering a substantial food menu, solidifying its status as a full-service vegan restaurant. This includes the highly-praised Vegan Patties in flavors like Lentil, Ackee, Pumpkin, and Fish (vegan preparation), which one reviewer highly recommended as a perfect breakfast accompaniment to a smoothie. Other savory food items include "Avocado Toast," various "Vegan Burgers" like the "Lovely burger" and "OG El Burger," and the option to "Create Your Own Salads." This diverse menu ensures that customers can visit for a full, satisfying vegan meal, not just a drink.
The business is also popular for solo dining and is intentionally designed to be family-friendly, featuring a "Kids' menu" and a "Casual, Trendy" atmosphere. Customer service is a major highlight, with one review specifically mentioning that the staff "always greet visitors with a smile and make every order with care and attention." This consistent positive interaction enhances the overall experience and encourages repeat business from the local Queens community.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Might be the worst I’ve had. Very sweet and very small for the price. Wouldn’t recommend the available bowl.
June 15 · P DThe customer service is great, they always greet visitors with a smile and make every order with care and attention. The patties are delicious I highly suggest the lentil patty. I add a mile to my morning walk routine to get that with a King Yatta for breakfast
July 08 · Denise DixonEdited review***It’s frustrating that we don’t have much healthy options in the area and when there’s one really good juice bar like this, the service messes it up.I enjoy the juices and shakes and optimistic that there’s more healthy options in the neighborhood. But it’s also frustrating to order a shake and get this awkward attitude from the cashier. You don’t have to like your customers but you do have to respect them.Juices and shakes are 5 stars! But the service brought it down.
March 01 · Mary R.Excellent Juice/Smoothie Bar as well as vegan food shop (Vegan should be emphasized in the google overview). I thoroughly enjoyed the service here. The interior is very well decorated with art work and arcade games, and the music playing is perfectly suited to fit the atmosphere. The guy making the smoothie always gives a small sample of what he has made to see if you like it, and if not adjusts it to your needs. This really makes you feel as though they are working to make sure you are satisfied, though admittedly it makes wait times a bit longer than other places (don't come if you are in a rush). He also forgot about one of our smoothies and had to make it after a few other customers, but this was no big deal as we were waiting on food. The lady manning the operation asks if you want any modifications to each item before placing your order, so I will assume the focus is on customizability. In the same vein, one of the cooks personally peeked out to ask us if we wanted specific things on our sandwich. Finally, the lady at the register was extremely patient and accommodating with us to choose a different side since they were out of most things (we went close to closing).Smoothies:- LL Smooth J (10/10) - perfect consistency and strawberry taste as advertised.- Crunch (10/10) - again a perfect smoothie, exactly what I was looking for to hit my peanut butter craving.- Philly Cheese Steak (9/10) - a great sandwich, packed with flavor. I do wish they had some hot sauce or something for it, though that may be on me for leaving before asking for it.- Chips + Guac (8/10) - this is some of the best guac I've ever had. It has it's own unique consistency, but what really makes it stand out is the flavor and spice. The chips however, while tasty, were a bit too fragile to handle the guac which is why I'm docking points.
June 22 · Ravindra BisramThe açaí bowls were amazing! The service was okay, didn’t seem like the worker was happy to be here, but that could be because the smoke alarm kept beeping every 30 seconds. Overall the experience was good and we’ll be back within a week!
