★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Overall, good. I was told the oxtail was good, though they could use a little more flavor, but they were still pleasing to the pallette. The fried chicken was well seasoned and not greasy. The jerk chicken was delicious and just as brutal on the exit though lol. If you don't care for spice, don't do it. The curry shrimp was also delicious. The counter lady gave me life, as she was singing, dancing and smiling, ringing up our orders. The young lady preparing our order had the mean mug (lol stigma for Jamaican servers), but she also smiled at us too which broke up any of that. The price for all we ordered was really good. The restaurant isn't luxurious, not that it needed to be. It felt really family oriented and clean. Lots of patrons drove up, double parking and running inside, then going on their way. You could tell it was THE neighborhood food spot.
July 24 · Trae AléciaGreat Jamaican food with original back home taste. The service is usually fast. May have to wait 15 minutes if the line is long. Which isn't bad. Carry out only. No tables. Good prices
September 06 · Vaughn A.Definitely a hidden gem 💎 tucked away in Brownsville East New York border straight island vibes definitely goes on my top 20 Jamaican food spots I’ve been to.. Straight Situation
June 06 · Anthony GibbsLong line but worth it. Food was amazing. If you like spicy food. Very flavorful.
July 18 · Lexjr ThomasI saw the line inside and promised my stomach to treat it to a few meals. This Jamaican spot is takeout only. The staff is helpful, friendly, and ready to assist you. There is no one on their phone or distracted by side conversation. It's odd to see staff actually focus on the customers in Jamaican restaurant. They accept cash and cards. Bon Appetit!
