Disappointing, wanted to have a nice birthday brunch. Food took forever, the milkshakes tasted funny, the food was just ok.our server was nice. No fault to her.There was no music or people, The atmosphere was pretty uninviting.However my biggest disappointment was when my cheesecake tasted like it was made out of custard, I was a few bites in when I found a hair.Got up and left gross.

This was a quiet local, good food, coffee was not fresh, they kept pouring what was left of the coffee pot into the new pot of coffee. I was only given one napkin so once I blew my nose no more were available or provided or offered. Maybe some could/should have been available on the table alongside the condiments they already had at the table.

Service is great, thanks Nicole! Food is okay. I ordered jalapeño poppers, and a classic Ruben with roast beef. The poppers were a bit chewy but tasted good. The roast beef was dry, and I didn't expect it to be open faced. Bread and fries are good. Slaw on the side was warm. They have a massive menu that could stand some shrinkage to allow a focus on quality. I will probably visit again to check out their breakfast skills 😉

On a Saturday morning it seems there was one waitress for the whole place. She was lovely but seemed over worked. She was waiting tables and clearing them. Food took forever and we had two small children. Food was ok. Just ok. My waffle wasn’t hot, the butter would not melt on it. My daughter dropped a crayon and I was grossed out by the crud under the table legs. The salt and pepper shakers and sugar packet container were gross. And when the thermostat looks like this it makes me wonder what the kitchen is like. We will wait for a parking spot at Candlewyck next time.

Just drove up for jets game tomorrow. Stopped here to eat. What a great place. My pancakes were divine. The cheesesteak was delicious. Server was excellent. Loved it all. Had the feel of a neighborhood diner with home cooked meals! What a welcome to New Jersey!
