Mia Deli & Grocery Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For New Yorkers, the neighborhood Deli is a cornerstone of daily life—an essential stop for everything from a morning coffee and breakfast sandwich to mid-day lunch and late-night emergency groceries. Mia Deli & Grocery, located in the dynamic East Harlem community, serves this vital role for residents and workers alike. Positioned on Lexington Avenue, this establishment operates as a hybrid convenience store and sandwich counter, prioritizing quick service for customers always on the go.
Mia Deli & Grocery is tailored for a Quick visit, understanding the demanding pace of New York City life. The business aims to be a one-stop shop, offering freshly prepared items alongside essential pantry and household goods. Menu items typically include staples of the New York deli scene: made-to-order breakfast sandwiches like the classic egg and cheese, custom-built cold sandwiches, and sometimes, for an authentic local touch, prepared homemade Spanish food which is a common and beloved offering in the Spanish Harlem area.
It is important for local patrons to be aware of the variety of experiences reported by customers. While the convenience and presence of Spanish food are draws, some reviews mention concerns regarding food quality, particularly issues with sandwich components and the taste of prepared hot food, such as "burnt rice." Additionally, serious warnings have been issued by customers regarding alleged "fraudulent credit card practices," with one customer reporting an experience of hostile refusal of a refund and accusations of non-payment. Local users are advised to exercise extreme caution when conducting transactions and to keep a close record of their purchases and payment confirmations.

However, it is absolutely essential to exercise heightened vigilance based on reported customer experiences. Mia Deli & Grocery Reviews
sandwiches
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1They don't seem enthusiastic to even service anyone at this establishment and the customers are being cheated out of food quality. I requested a simple eggs and sausage sandwich. Which they advertised they had turkey sausage patties with a sign when requested they said they don't have that and then rebuttal with a statement they don't have anymore. So I just asked for a simple eggs sandwich. To my surprise it was more bread then the command of eggs. Then I got some homemade Spanish food that I thought would be soulful to my soul only to be charged 10.00 for the taste of burnt rice. Ewwww never will be giving my service to them again. Sigh. Harlem is dying.
February 18 · silk GibsonWarning regarding fraudulent credit card practicesExercise extreme caution when paying by credit card at this establishment. The owner appears to run credit cards at the end of the night and falsely claim that certain transactions were not processed, subsequently accusing customers of non-payment due to an alleged “incorrect PIN.”I exclusively use credit cards that do not require a PIN. Nevertheless, the owner accused me of entering the store on Thursday, the 21st, at 11:00 p.m. to purchase cigarettes, claiming I paid with a card, hurried out, and that the payment failed because of an incorrect PIN. This is impossible. My cards do not use PINs, and at that time I was at home sleeping in preparation for an international flight departing at 6:00 a.m. the following morning. When I requested a refund, the owner refused, displaying a hostile and combative attitude. In my opinion, this conduct constitutes fraudulent business practice. I strongly advise avoiding this establishment.
September 02 · Nicolo Di StefanoTheir sandwiches are basically just bread, they don't give much and you can't see them prepare it
April 16 · Peter SFor those who cherish the old panaderías should appreciate this bodega. It’s one of the few local places left, that I’m aware of, where you can get still get breakfast latino style similar to those old bakeries. They even offer mofongo! I grew up not far from here actually. My family and I would frequent one on Lexington between 109th and 110th. It is now long gone but the memories remain.
December 17 · Will Flores TVMia is a great name for this place. Because service is missing in action. I would have love to try one of their sandwiches, but I could not get anyone to pay any attention to me. Then again, I'm only 6 ft 2 and 200 lb. So I'm pretty hard to notice.Disappointing bodega.
