★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Went for afternoon tea on a Saturday. The three tiered tower and tea was excellent, there wasn’t anything we disliked. The bread for the finger sandwiches was extremely fresh, they have real clotted cream for their delicious scones, the sweets were a nice variety and very tasty. Adorable atmosphere and our waitress was so sweet. Will 100% be back. August 02 · Madison Lee
- Can’t believe we came across this cute & delicious spot on our first trip to becon!!!!!!!!! Me and my girlfriends wanted a cutesy brunch spot and we were left feeling extremely satisfied. The food was amazing,,, from scone to fish and chips to the dessert caramel pudding. The lemon honey white tea was delightful and all the tea cups and dishes were unique!! we were really warmly greeted too! Don’t forget to make reservations for the weekend! June 09 · becky lee
- Moreish is an absolute gem and a true taste of the UK right on Main Street. After outgrowing their food hall days, they’ve created a beautiful new space that instantly transports you across the pond—from the cozy decor to the charming details throughout. Their fish and chips are hands-down the best in the Hudson Valley: perfectly crispy, authentically seasoned, and served with a homemade tartar sauce that’s out of this world. Afternoon tea is another must—generously portioned, beautifully presented in the most delightful tea ware, and perfect for a cozy catch-up or special treat. And whatever you do, save room for the sticky toffee pudding. It’s the kind of dessert you’ll think about long after the last bite. The service is warm and welcoming, the atmosphere is relaxed yet refined, and it’s quickly become my favorite spot in town. A true local treasure! May 22 · Erin Mutlu
- Found this British cafe in upstate NY, as I was missing food from home so I made a 40 minute journey. The toad in the hole was just okay, what would have made it good is if the Yorkshire pudding batter was fully cooked, fluffier and for it to have less gravy or have it on the side so you can put on as much as you want. Ordered chips and was not all cooked properly. The Sticky toffee pudding was brilliant! Would definitely come back for that alone! I did take away more of the pudding and the Cornish pasty which I highly recommend! What was missing was sausage rolls which I was disappointing as I was told it was recently taken off the menu recently. July 31 · Jason East
- We were a group of four and we ordered almost everything! The Cauliflower Steak w/ Tikka masala mayo: someone in my group said this was better than the one he had at Jean-Georges! The Cheddar and the baguette on the Ploughman's lunch were exquisite! The fish & chips was very good (the home-made tartar sauce was extraordinary). The red-wine sauce of the bangers & mash was terrific.Quaint English decor with family pictures and antique tea pots. I loved those tiny foraged flower vases! June 01 · Krishnendu Ray
