---## What is Worth Choosing
Choosing Nanas A Vegan is a decision rooted in a desire for delicious, satisfying, and compassionate food. The primary reason this spot is worth choosing is its ability to deliver authentic, soulful flavors in a vegan format. For those who may have been skeptical about plant-based comfort food, Nanas A Vegan proves that you don't have to compromise on taste or texture. One reviewer's high praise for the "fried oyster mushrooms" (likely referring to the Fried Chick N Sandwich, which often uses oyster mushrooms as a meat substitute) highlights a particular menu item that is a definite must-try. The fact that this place became a new favorite for someone who had "heard about it for a long time" speaks volumes about its quality and reputation.
The affordability and generous portions are another significant reason to choose Nanas A Vegan. In a city where dining out can be expensive, finding a place that offers great value without sacrificing flavor is a huge win. The variety of "Fixins" allows you to build a plate that is perfectly tailored to your cravings, whether you're in the mood for Baked Mac & Cheeze, Candied Yams, or Collard Greens. The Southern Comfort and Mother's Smothered dishes are also worth exploring for a full and satisfying meal.

The restaurant is constantly working to improve, and its commitment to quality is evident in the many positive comments. The trendy yet cozy atmosphere, combined with the variety of service options and a menu that’s "good for kids," makes it a versatile choice for a wide range of New Yorkers. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had heard about this place for a long time before it opened, and when I finally got the chance to try it, it quickly became my new favorite spot. Everything here is delicious, affordable, and served in great portions. I highly recommend their fried oyster mushrooms.I just wish they offered delivery :(
July 12 · Christine3 stars for The customer service is excellent but when you cooking mushrooms you gotta make sure it ain’t cake up with fried batter and barely mushroom, the greens was salty and Also vegan places shouldn’t use industrial oils to fry . Last but not least them limp soggy fries ain’t it .Good bbq sauce on the sandwich . Y’all just need to touch up on the chef techniques
August 23 · True HeroWhenever there is a craving for that authentic soul food without a doubt first spot thought of is Nana’s a Vegan. Best part is they are Black-Owned. The flavors, the textures and the amount for the prices, you just got to love it! Also customer service greatest of service. One more thing the Bronx is not well known for vegan food places here so my family and I are also so thankful, 100% support.
April 05 · Belssivett CastroWe Tried the Vegan Banana Pudding and we agreed that it was slamming. So Good we took 1 home. We didn't have a chance to try the food but if it is anything like the pudding I bet you can't go wrong, Definitely coming back and you should stop by too.
March 22 · 212BXLPSooo happy that this restaurant finally opened!! I’m not even vegan but it’s easily one of my favorite places to grab lunch or dinner. Everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) tastes soulfully amazing 🤩. I mean it when I say you cannot tell the difference between some of these vegan dishes and their actual meat/dairy “siblings.” I would eat here everyday if my pockets allowed 😂. Don’t walk there run! You will not regret it!!
