What is Worth Choosing
Choosing New Hardee is about recognizing its unique position as a hybrid dining spot in the Brooklyn neighborhood. It is particularly worth choosing for its convenience, broad selection, and focus on fast, comforting meals. If you are in the area and looking for a no-fuss option for a satisfying meal, New Hardee offers several compelling reasons to stop by.
Exceptional Menu Breadth
The sheer variety of the menu is its greatest strength. It’s an ideal choice for groups with diverse cravings. Where else can you get a traditional Chinese dish like Chicken / Roast Pork W. Broccoli alongside American classics like a Fillet Fish & Cheese On The Hero or a range of gourmet wings? This makes decision-making easy when you can't decide between Chinese food and a classic fried chicken basket. The Specialties section alone is massive, featuring popular items like Fried Half Chicken, various chicken wings, and numerous fish and shrimp boxes such as the Freshly Fried Jumbo Shrimp Box and Fried Tilapia Hero. Whether your preference leans towards the savory, rich sauces of Rib Tips In Garlic Sauce or the simple satisfaction of a 1/4 Pound Cheeseburger, New Hardee has an option to meet that need. This vast selection ensures that repeat customers will always find something new to try or can stick to their favorite comfort meal.
Focus on Quick and Convenient Dining
New Hardee is purpose-built for the New York pace. The emphasis on takeout and being a quick bite option means minimal waiting time, making it perfect for workers on a limited lunch break or residents who need a speedy dinner solution. The offerings are explicitly designed as small plates or easily portable meals, reinforcing its role as a fast-casual provider. Furthermore, the aforementioned Lunch Special represents a smart, cost-conscious option for locals. A popular tip from customers suggests that hitting the restaurant between 11 AM and 3 PM to take advantage of this special is a good strategy for both value and a quick turnaround. For those who prioritize a speedy, convenient transaction over an extended, formal dining experience, New Hardee is a reliable option.
Local Accessibility and Ease
The restaurant's location on Franklin Avenue, coupled with its welcoming features, makes it a highly accessible neighborhood asset. For local users, knowing there's a nearby spot with a wheelchair-accessible entrance and the ability to pay with credit cards simplifies the decision-making process. It is a true neighborhood cornerstone, catering to the everyday needs of the Crown Heights community. While there are, as in any local business, mixed accounts of food quality, the persistent patronage and wide array of familiar comfort items available for quick, casual consumption solidifies its position as a key local food stop. It's a place to go when you need a diverse menu, a quick bite, or a reliable solution for a family meal where everyone wants something different.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Crab rangoons were tough to chew. The wings are good and juicy! The flats are better than the drums. The general tso was a solid 3/5.The fried rice only had like 5 pieces of pork in it. I wish it had some veggies or eggs or something. If you’re there between 11a and 3p, definitely get the lunch special.
May 01 · Cherie B. TayThey just sold my daughter 65 dollars worth of OLD FOOD. Especially the crab sticks and chicken. It had to be thrown away and after spending 65 dollars for OLD, STALE FOOD. She charged her for a small lemonade. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY PLEASE!!!!!UPDATE- My daughter just purchased some chicken broth for me, A small broth is $5.50 and once again STALE CRISPY NOODLES and the broth was horrible and overpriced. I see why the only reason people visit this establishment is for use of the 99cent ATM. Also here’s a photo of the pack of STALE CRISPY Noodles you get for 50cents extra👀👀 People go to Annie’s 88 or Wing Hing which are both close by.
July 26 · Cynthia RoseI understand cost went up but if your charging we $13.50 would you not give me my moneys worth they are robbing people I would not buy any food from them again
January 25 · Ashar MorenoI ordered a chicken cheese egg roll, Despite the fact that the lights were off and crazy dim in there … as I watch her she literally threw my egg roll in the MICROWAVE FOR 6 mins ignoring that, i assumed that it will be 2 not knowing 1 egg roll was 4 bucks.. so I kindly let her know nevermind she insisted that is what I ordered and I agreed explaining i didn’t know it was the quantity would be 1, Frustrated the lady told me to give her back a $1 so I can receive my money back, as I gave her the dollar to her she rudely snatches it from me same time throwing my 5 on the counter… Im glad I asked for my money back ….
December 10 · Samantha Ashtonshe knew how much money i had and made me pay that amount then when i asked for more duck sauce she made it 25 cents for 1 then i gave it to her and she took my bag and cheated me for my money and a small iced tea cost 2 dollars.
