Old Song Introduce
Introduction / Overview
In the heart of Flushing, Queens—a hub for authentic international cuisine—lies a cherished local gem: Old Song Korean Restaurant. This unassuming establishment has cultivated a strong following among New Yorkers, from busy college students to long-time locals, by staying true to the spirit of authentic, homestyle Korean cooking. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I visited this place, and I was truly impressed. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the gimbobs were delicious—made with fresh ingredients that you can really taste. I also tried their fresh fruit, which was both amazing and very affordable, especially in today’s high-price economy. It's rare to find such quality and kindness at such reasonable prices. I’m definitely going back!
April 25 · MS L.Posting review while enjoying the food. This place is amazing. Freshly-made kimbap, generous portions for an amazing price, and excellent miso soup. Really had mom and pop shop feel with actual Koreans running it (not that that should matter per se). Everyone behind the counter was so sweet, too. We had the vegetarian and mushroom kimbaps (latter has fish cake) to meet the $10 minimum for paying by credit card, both were very satisfying. For the price and quality and just the feel of supporting a local shop, I definitely want to come back often.
August 21 · Abed “notacouch” IslamThe spicy tuna and squid are so good. I love this place and it’s one of the cheapest place I’ve been too. They also have new interior.
April 16 · Xio ChenLove this place bc they make great fresh rolls of kimbop! For so many years I love to come here eat it as soon as they make it. They are so fast and it’s so good. They give free spicy soup with it. No excess salt, lots of fillings, lots of variety of kimbop. They take credit card minimum of $10. Rolls start at $6.00 as of 10/29/22. It’s a great deal! Reminds me of Korean Street food kimbop.
October 29 · karina kOne of my favorite take-out stops when I visit my girlfriend in Flushing. She loves the spicy tuna, spicy beef, and pork belly. But most of all she loves the soup that comes with it! I really like the squid, but I usually get the beef and a California roll. The people who work behind the counter are really friendly and they just recently renovated!
