What is Worth Choosing
With a menu full of enticing options, it can be hard to know where to start. For the full Oyster Bar experience, there are a few must-try items that consistently receive rave reviews.
The most obvious choice is the oysters themselves. With an impressive selection that includes varieties like Cool Cove, Peter Point, and Joly, you can explore different flavors and textures. The happy hour $1 oysters are a particularly great deal and an excellent way to sample a few of the fresh offerings without breaking the bank. For a different take on a classic, the Oyster Shooter is a popular choice that provides a quick, flavorful burst of the sea.
Beyond the raw bar, the New England Clam Chowder is a perfect choice, offering a creamy, comforting, and hearty bowl that is perfect on a chilly day. For shared plates with a group, you can't go wrong with the Fried Calamari or the Crab & Artichoke Dip, which are both fantastic for sharing and pairing with a few beers. If you’re looking for something more substantial, the Fish & Chips is a classic pub staple that is expertly prepared here, and the Double Cheeseburger is a satisfying, juicy option that has its own fan base, especially when paired with a martini on a Monday or Tuesday.
Finally, make sure to take advantage of the daily specials. The half-off wine on Wednesday is a rare find in the city, making it a great day for a more leisurely and upscale meal without the high price tag. And for a weekend gathering, a $25 Pitcher of Beer on a Sunday is an unbeatable deal. Oyster Bar truly has something to satisfy any craving, making it a place you’ll want to return to again and again.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I went there by myself on a calm Sunday just for the happy hour $1 oysters. I enjoyed my oysters and beer and the clam chowder was delicious. I should reserve my review after a second visit, but I'm giving it 3 stars because, it was just that. One server, one bartender, ok oysters. The price point is what's really saving the review. Not to mention, that my stomach was upset after my meal. So 3 stars until further notice.
April 07 · Chase PESOGreat spot, great happy hour, nice service staff. Currently have $1 oysters on happy hour, $6 draft beer, $9 wine.
July 08 · Aiden TylerJust spent the day moving my 22 yr old niece into her apt across the street, after a full day of walking/tour guiding I was beyond thrilled to pop in here . Tim the bartender I was privileged to hang with had an awesome vibe and was just wonderful! $1 HH oysters too! I found my new spot to stop in when I visit. 20/10 recommend .
August 03 · Rachael ProvenzaleYou just can’t beat $1 oysters for happy hour!! The presentation is great (3 sauce options & lemon on ice) and the oysters were wonderful. Decent size, fresh and delicious! The Bloody Mary was yummy too. A very casual, comfortable atmosphere. The service was excellent!! Will be back.
November 08 · Lyl RoseIt is also called the Grey Lady. My first raw oysters experience, and during happy hour, they are only $1 each! I was scared I would gag! The raw oysters are not gross but not that special to me. I also drank 2 $6 drafts of Big Wave Golden Ale from Hawaii. For someone who does not care for the taste alcohol, that was a smooth, fruity ale with no bitterness. I ordered the fish tacos, but would not order them again as they were meh.
