First time at this spot and it was amazing. Got the Italian combo and let the man dress it up how it should be. As god intended ya know. It changed my life to say the least, possibly the best day of it if nothing else. Everything was fresh and even the meat was sliced right on the spot for the sandwich. Best Italian Combo in the area hands down!Customer service was great and they won over a new customer.

Somehow reminds me of my grandma’s cooking, great breakfast choice only got latte and sandwiches this time. Chewy roll and flavorful ham with perfect yolky egg and cheese very soft not dripping at all.

An old school authentic Italian deli run by mom, dad, and their son. The food is outstanding, I had an Italian Combo and my wife had a turkey sub, there was no skimping on the ingredients, WOW! As for the pizza 🍕 we traveled here from Cape Cod in search of the best pizza from Rockland County NY through Bergen County NJ. We eventually landed here at Petrillos and met John and his parents working behind the counter. An old school hard-working family making traditional pizzas. We were blown away by what they had created, a super tasty combination of classic sauce and the perfect amount of cheese on a slightly crispy underbody with a soft but crisp crust. We ordered 13 pizzas that day, 10 plain,1 green pepper & onion, and 2 chicken cutlet and cherry pepper. After trying the Chicken cutlet and cherry pepper I called the next morning and ordered 3 more...wow it was awesome. Upon picking up the pizzas Sunday morning we discovered John making breakfast on the flat-top grill so my wife ordered French toast and bacon, yum! We gave this establishment a 5-star review but on a scale of 1-10 we gave our highest review 9.8 only because there has to be room for something higher, we just haven't found it yet. Keep up the good work, this will always be a stop on our road trips from the Cape. You are officially part of our food world family, La Famiglia. Thank you, from Kevin & Melanie

Petrillo's Deli has been feeding my family for decades. If you want an amazing deli sandwich, pizza, or pasta dishes, look no further. Quick service, good pricing, huge portions and friendly staff. There is limited seating inside if you want to eat there but it's recommended to take your food to go. I've been eating here since the mid-1990s and after moving to South Carolina, I always make a habit of stopping in here for a giant sandwich every time we come back home. Best sandwiches in Northvale as far as I'm concerned.
