Three Boys From Italy Introduce
Three Boys From Italy has established itself as a beloved fixture in the Bergen County, New Jersey dining scene, bringing a taste of authentic Italian-American cuisine to Northvale. More than just a local pizzeria, this restaurant offers an extensive menu that spans from specialty pizzas, including traditional Neapolitan and Sicilian styles, to classic, hearty Italian dinner entrees. For New Jersey residents seeking a dependable, high-quality, and family-friendly spot for lunch, dinner, or a quick bite, Three Boys From Italy provides a consistent and comforting experience.
The restaurant's history is tied to a rich family tradition that originated across the Hudson River. The founder of the Northvale location, Domenico Gaudio, was a part of the family that opened the Original Three Boys from Italy Pizzeria in the Bronx, New York, after immigrating from Calabria, Italy, in 1968. In 1995, Domenico brought his passion for good food and friends to New Jersey, establishing the Northvale restaurant where he continued to share his authentic culinary heritage for over two decades. This background contributes to the authentic, time-tested quality and flavor that many local New Jersey patrons appreciate. It's an establishment that proudly carries a piece of that classic New York pizzeria legacy into the Garden State.
The menu is a testament to the breadth of Italian-American comfort food, ensuring there is something to satisfy virtually any craving. While pizza is certainly a main attraction, with options ranging from pies baked in a wood-burning brick oven to traditional gas oven varieties, the selection of pasta, chicken, veal, and seafood dishes transforms it into a full-service Italian dining destination. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual slice or planning a full family dinner, the restaurant’s commitment to generous portions, classic preparation, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a reliable choice for local diners.
The local reviews frequently highlight the excellent quality of the pizza, with many praising the crisp crust and flavorful sauces. Popular items, such as the Margherita Pizza and Rigatoni Ala Vodka, are consistently noted as customer favorites. This reputation for quality across the board, from quick-service slices to more elaborate dinner preparations, underscores its status as an essential Italian food spot in Northvale.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’m from the Bronx and I have grown up eating Three Boys Pizza my whole life from their Burke Avenue location. Sal and Tony were the best! Now I live in New Jersey so its only right I stay loyal to the family and frequent the Northvale location. You guys never disappoint! Most pizza in Jersey is trash so its awesome to have a place I can get the best!
May 01 · Christopher MaldonadoSo far I've only had four different slices there's a vodka slice that is amazing buffalo chicken there's not a bit of pizza that is not covered in chicken at a regular and Sicilian also very good
July 18 · Michael OlivaExtremely disappointed, my family and I have made this place a tradition. In fact, my husband and his best friend grew up eating from their other establishment in the Bronx for over 30 years so when we moved and found out they had this Nj location we were ecstatic. We’ve been to this Northvale location multiple times especially for their Sicilian Margherita pie which is amazing however our commute is about an hour and a half from upstate NY and an hour and 15 for our friends who join us, so you can only imagine the disappointment when we showed up yesterday famished to learn they were closed for vacation. I mean the least you can do is update your hours on google considering not everyone is a local. I’ve learned a valuable lesson today, CALL THIS PLACE PRIOR TO SHOWING UP.
August 15 · Carolyn OrtizWe order from them quite often through DoorDash. They always get our order right and always accommodate our modifications. They just surprised us with a large pizza today when we ordered a personal. Little things like this as well as the delicious food and constant accuracy of order are why three boys is our absolute favorite! Kathie and Rob
May 09 · KatWe ordered from Three Boys From Italy on Uber Food, we were blown away with how delicious the two pizzas were. We had to make the visit to their location. Nice place in North Vale. Plenty of off street parking. Welcoming when we walked in. A very casual dining room is more of a counter order pizza place. We opted for table service. We had fried calamari which was very good and came out hot. We also ordered a speciality wood oven pizza Domenico Special Pizza. Well to be perfectly honest it was good. But not as great as the two we had delivered. The Margarita and Vodka pizza are out of this world fantastic. The Domenico was not as good, we ordered something we would not normally get. It had fried eggplant and fried onions along with other special stuff. First it was not piping hot, due to the amount of stuff they put on it after it came out of the oven. They were happy to heat up the next two slices we had. It made the slice taste much better. Going home with the rest it smelled like White Castles in the back because of the fried onions. Still a great place. They use really good ingredients and have a winning pizza dough. Will definitely return and order online.
