★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Had a passionfruit margarita for the first time and it was excellent. If I'm ever here again, it'll be my go-to drink. They also serve a pretzel that melts in your mouth. Excellent pairing with your choice of beverage. The only con is that it closes early on a Thursday night.
June 23 · Jarrell HI visited San Diego and had a fantastic meal with two friends. We ordered the Full Rib Dinner with Black Bean and Corn Slaw, Chicken Wings, Corn Bread, along with two beers and a cocktail.I wasn't expecting much from the cocktails since they were reasonably priced, but they turned out to have a nice balance—not too sweet and just the right amount of alcohol. The ribs were incredibly tender and delicious on their own, but dipping them in the accompanying sauce took them to the next level. The Black Bean and Corn Slaw was a standout; I was genuinely surprised by how good it was—definitely a must-try side!Even weeks later, I still can’t forget that flavor. The Chicken Wings were a bit spicy for my taste, but they were still tasty. The Corn Bread had actual corn kernels in it, which made it even better, and they were generous with the butter. The portions were quite large, and we ended up taking some home, but I wish I could have finished it all! It was a great way to kick off my trip with such delicious food.
September 08 · Selina LThe bartender, Liberty was so lovely and the food was delicious. I ordered the fig and gruyere grilled cheese with Tomato soup and was not disappointed! The Lavender Gin Lemonade was fantastic and the PB&J shots are perfect. Will definitely come back!
April 18 · Elisa G Schneiderwant to love phil’s & pay myself a visit. but this isn’t how brooklyn does it! we’re respectful of our neighbors. when we host, we have good crowd control. unfortunately, phil’s missed the memo when i tried calling them several times last night. this part of town isn’t the party hardy side, it’s the family rearing side…you know better. let’s take some accountability please!
August 15 · dumb headI definitely have to come back. I went and had the fig jam and gruyere grilled cheese with the tomato soup on the side. So delicious. I will be back for more of those and its just really chill vibes.
