★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Sleek and bustling spot. The swordfish, the pasta and the daily special mushrooms were very memorable, although really everything was good. Great wine choices and solid service too. A strong recommend for a weekend outing for groups of 2-4.
September 07 · Khoi PhamHad a really great experience here end-to-end. We came for my boyfriend’s birthday and I really appreciated that they wished him happy birthday on the walk in, had a card at our seat at the bar and poured us glasses of champagne as we sat down. It made the dinner feel very special before we even made it to the food. The food was delicious! Every sauce and broth was so unique and well curated. Each dish got better and better with each bite. I know I’ll be craving another visit very soon.My personal faves from the night were the sardine toast (I called it a sushi toast) and the mafaldine which had notes of almost a seaweed like flavor, but everything was great. My only note was with the asparagus and salt cod dish the flavor of the asparagus drowned out the cod - I appreciated the cod and the ramp more on their own or with the sourdough. Definitely get the sourdough to sop up any and all of the leftover sauces. They’re that good
May 04 · Khiana LoweOne of my favorite wine bars/restaurant! Excellent rotating menu and really fun cozy environment with an open kitchen, knowledgeable staff. The mussel starter with green sauce and the lamb tartare were favorites. Everything was excellently prepared, no notes
June 20 · Maria YuEverything is more complex and robust than the menu lets on. Engage with the service and you will be rewarded, Morgan was wonderful behind the bar. I enjoyed the sardine toast (on hearty, toasted-but-soft, grainy bread), their house martini (tomato & manzanilla), and the corn ice cream (better than most).
September 10 · Korissa MattaDinner so loud! I guess I'm getting to the point where I cannot dine comfortably in a super noisy restaurant. The rest of the younger guests seemed very happy.I feel very well versed on the life details of the people that we're sitting adjacent to us. The shrieking valley girls were too much though! Our waitress was amazing. You really got the sense that you were being taken care of even in the busy restaurant on a Saturday night.Food was good but not as good as last time we were here . Hits were the bread, the mussels, the gem lettuce salad, maiitake mushrooms, caraflex cabbage with nduja, the pork chop ( although having it come cut up made me feel like I was 5), and the morels 😋😋😋.The pasta with peas was bland (we ate it with the morels) and the same with the hiramasa crudo (I asked for citrus from the bar to give it some acidity).Next time, we'll have to come much earlier and beat the dinn
