★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Really good German food. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The beer selection wasn’t a very long list of beers, but the German beers that we tried were great. The chicken schnitzel was very good, as was the giant pretzel, potato, pancakes, red, cabbage, etc.
August 28 · Rahn JacksonIt’s unfortunate what has become of the food here. I have been coming to this restaurant for a very long time, and although it’s been a while since my last visit, I expect the food to be good as it was the last time I visited. Alas, it was not to be. The Jaeger snitzel was tasteless, smothered in a mushroom sauce made of canned mushrooms and lacking all flavor. The beef roulade was no better than boiled beef devoid of any seasoning. The red cabbage was overcooked with no flavor other than vinegar. This place used to be the place for a great German meal, but it is no longer.Maybe it’s still good as a Biergarten with live bands, but even the beer selection is limited, so I’m not too sure if one can say it’s a great Biergarten. The food and the service of the past is no longer what is here.
June 01 · S WWe had our wedding reception at Plattduetsche Park back in April of this year. I cannot speak more highly about this venue if I tried. Debbie Hickey was a dream to work with. The Grand Ballroom is gorgeous. The service was phenomenal - from waitstaff to bridal attendant to maitre’d. The food was DELICIOUS (no surprise there though!) We wish we could relive the night over and over again.
June 07 · Ricki TalbotThis place has been around for many years and is still one of the best German place to drink and eat. All the food is amazing and great selection of beers. Lots of entertainment and authentic German dancers. Never a bad experience.
June 14 · Robert PappHad a delicious Birthday dinner here with my wife tonight. Every time I visit I like to try a new Entree. The Rindsrouladen was tender and delicious. My wife enjoyed the Beer Battered Cod Fillet. We shared a German French Fries that were superb. Very prompt, attentive and pleasant service as well. Highly recommended.
