Iconic NYC deli. Conveniently located across for Carnegie Hall. Lots of space to browse the deli counter, and extra seating upstairs. Great place to stop and take a rest in the middle of the day.Food is good. Pastrami sandwich was pricy, but enough for two and came with two pickles. Staff was friendly. Pastrami was slightly above average, could be juicier. The pickle was super garlicky and tasty. Cheesecake was also good.Location great. Food good. People nice. Would recommend stopping here with no worries.

This is our favorite spot to visit when in NYC. The reuben is unmatched and massive- perfect to share. The desserts are delicious and it's always hard to choose between the cheesecake, triple layer cake, or other baked goods. Highly recommend!
