Roman’s Pizza and Cafe Introduce
In the vibrant and close-knit communities of the Bronx, local eateries are more than just places to eat; they are gathering spots and cornerstones of daily life. Roman’s Pizza and Cafe, located on West 167th Street, has long been a fixture in its neighborhood. The establishment presents itself as a classic New York food destination, offering a wide array of comfort food options that go well beyond the traditional pizza parlor. From savory pasta dishes to grilled sandwiches and heroes, the menu is designed to cater to virtually every craving. This extensive range of offerings is a major part of its identity, positioning it as a convenient, one-stop shop for a full meal, a quick bite, or a family dinner. However, like any business with a long history in a community, it has also become a subject of public conversation, with recent customer feedback raising important questions about its role and responsibility within the neighborhood it serves.
The menu at Roman’s is impressively diverse, a characteristic that defines its approach to dining. Beyond the expected pizza pies and slices, which range from classic cheese to specialty options like Hawaiian and Buffalo Chicken, the restaurant offers an expansive selection of Italian and American comfort food. The "Oven-Baked Specialties" section includes hearty meals like Lasagna, Baked Ziti, and Stuffed Shells, perfect for a satisfying dinner. For those who prefer grilled fare, the "From the Grill" section features a variety of options, from a classic Cheeseburger to a Philly Cheesesteak and a Chicken Gyro. This variety extends to "Hot Heros," with traditional choices like Chicken Parmigiana and Meatballs Parm. The menu is a clear indication that the business aims to be more than just a pizza place; it is a full-service cafe designed to provide a comprehensive and comforting culinary experience for its patrons. This wide selection, combined with its casual atmosphere, makes it a popular choice for many in the community looking for a reliable and familiar meal.

For those interested in reaching the restaurant, the address is 171 W 167th St, Bronx, NY 10452, USA. You can also contact them by phone at (718) 513-3884 or +1 718-513-3884. The availability of both a traditional landline and a mobile number gives customers multiple ways to connect for orders or inquiries. This public contact information is a crucial part of a local business's presence, serving as a direct link between the establishment and the community. As a physical and a commercial landmark on its street, Roman’s Pizza and Cafe has a long-standing presence in the area. However, it is important for the public to have a complete picture of the business, which includes both its positive attributes and any public concerns that have been raised, as this provides a full and factual overview of its reputation within the community.
When it comes to what is worth choosing from Roman’s Pizza and Cafe, a potential customer's decision-making process must include consideration of the serious issues raised in recent public feedback. The reviews provided do not comment on the quality of the food or the efficiency of the service, but rather on the business's ethics and its relationship with the community. One review, representing a community organization, expresses profound disappointment, stating that after spending "hundreds of dollars" to feed local youth, a "simple donation of two 2-liter sodas" for a Juneteenth celebration was refused, with the organization allegedly told to "go elsewhere." This and a similar public statement raise questions about the business's commitment to giving back to the community that supports it. While the menu offers a wide variety of delicious-sounding items, from a Pepperoni Puff appetizer to a Philly Cheesesteak and a Meat Lover Pizza, the ultimate choice to patronize this establishment rests on a customer's personal values and their judgment of a business's community engagement. The food options themselves are extensive and appealing to many tastes, but the public commentary suggests that a customer’s decision will likely be influenced by factors that extend beyond the menu and into the realm of community respect and support. The choice of whether to support a business that has faced such public criticism is a deeply personal one, and it is a factor that anyone considering a visit to Roman’s Pizza and Cafe should be aware of.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1As a community, we stand behind businesses that not only serve us but truly value us. We are not just customers, we are people, families, and youth who support you with our hard earned money every single day. When greed overrides integrity, you lose our respect and our business. To those stores and companies in the Highbridge and surrounding communities that have chosen to disregard, disrespect, or devalue the very people who keep your doors open: understand this clearly we will no longer support you.Our community deserves more than being treated like dollar signs. We deserve to be seen, heard, and respected. Until you learn to appreciate the community you profit from, you will not see another dime of the thousands we’ve already invested in your business. We urge everyone: support businesses that support us. Let’s uplift those who uplift us and leave behind those who only take.Respect the community or lose the community.
June 22 · MarvinDisappointed in Lack of Community SupportAs a loyal customer and organization who spends thousands of dollars annually and supports your business every week by feeding our local youths through community programs and youth centers , I’m beyond disappointed. Just last week alone, we spent hundreds of dollars on food from your store to serve the same community you operate in.So when we asked for a simple donation of two 2-liter sodas on a $70 order to help support our youth celebrate june teenth you refused , stating we can go else where ? That was a slap in the face. You benefit from our community’s support, yet when it’s your turn to give back in the smallest way, you decline? That speaks volumes. Our youth deserve better. Our community deserves businesses that invest in us as much as we invest in them. Do better.A disappointed and now we will take our organization and resources somewhere else , who appreciates us.
