Came here upon recommendation from a golfer and was impressed by the food and service. Friendly and old school Italian decor, Rosario offers an expansive menu and with lots of specials, even better that is BYOB. Pastas are cooked perfectly al dente and sauce work is silky smooth. Portions are large, prepare to take leftovers home. Didn't have the pizza but that would be next, I hear the square pies are excellent.

I have tried many pizzas near Ridgewood and I do think this is the best pizza in Bergen county. All of the pizzas are good, but the spicy pomodoro pizza is… incredible. The sauce is spicy, the crunch is perfect, somehow still cheesy… I can’t even describe really how perfect it is.Other food here is good (e.g., branzino, eggplant parm, the soups) but the pizza is really the star. Restaurant is a nice vibe in and of itself but the pizza is really why I love this place.

DoorDash - says 6:25 the latest your food arrives. DoorDash never changed from that time frame. If you don’t want to use the DoorDash drivers communicate with your customers. Don’t argue me and say YOU DID EDIT THE TIME. The time didn’t change on my end. You simply apologize as customer service. Rude man on the phone.

This was a wonderful experience from the reception when we walked in the door to the personal touch and interaction with the wait staff. Everything was top notch. And I can’t say enough about the food. It was delicious.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.My family had been a frequent flyer at Rosarios even thru the pandemic. We loved Brett our server, but he disappeared several months back and we got stuck with Dean. I'm not going to mince words, Dean must be a nepo baby because he hasn't a clue for what it takes to be a server. the last three times he had our table, something always was amiss. The first time he gave me a completely different meal than I ordered, and this was after I stressed what exactly what I wanted while ordering, the second time our food was just not good, calamari was tough and cold and chicken francaise was stringy, now I can't blame him for that, so we decided to come back one more time. This time we had Nicole as our server, despite being new she was very good. Our meals were perfection so much so that I brought a party of 7 back 2 weeks later. Alas, we drew the short straw and had Dean as our server again. He is clueless.Any good waiter knows not to bring a sweet drink to a 6 year old 10 minutes before his meal comes out, but not Dean. Then despite asking to bring out the child's meal with our apps we had to remind him. After finishing our apps we waited 45 minutes for our entrees to come out. He kept looking at our table and 15 minutes into our wait he said our food was almost ready to come out, 15 minutes later still no food, he casually mentioned that our check was next up in the queue. I have worked as a waitress so that translates as they haven't even begun your order. By now I had lost my appetite. My meal, one of the fish specials was not good and I left 3/4 of it. He asked me if I liked it and I say it wasn't very good, he just smiled and walked away. Needless to say, we will not be coming back, which I am sad about because Rosarios had always been one of my favorites.
