★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It’s such a cute and chic little bakery in Manhattan! There’s plenty of space to sit, relax, and chat with a friend. The desserts were absolutely delicious—creamy, flavorful, and with lots of variety to choose from. My only tiny con is that I wish the portions were a bit bigger (they were just too good!). Prices are reasonable, and overall it’s definitely a spot I recommend. I’ll for sure be visiting again!
September 10 · Danna “Shern” Edwin1. bakery located at the heart of NYC, near Madison Square Park.2. quite a long queue during weekends, spare about 30 minutes for the line. but IT IS worth it.3. quite pricey, about $8-10 per pc while if you check out other bakery, usually it's under $8 (about $5). be sure to ask for the most recommended cake because choice of cake varies from time to time. we tried 3 cakes, all three were very good.4. very unique presentation, don't think we have one in Asia, or maybe we did not travel enough.5. service is just quite quick, they spare about 5 minutes (including payment) per customer.6. quite plenty of seats for dining in, but during weekends don't expect to easily find seat unless when someone is done dining in and you were there just in time to tag their seat.7. free drink (with self service dispenser), you can find near cashier.overall, we'd rate 8/10 for cake ideas, innovation and taste.
September 14 · Elizanne PAll the desserts lived up to the expectations. They taste as good as the way they look. Tried a variety of different pastries and croissants and you can't go wrong with any choices. Coffee was great as well with a unique style. Definitely worth a try when in NYC.
September 05 · Arnold★★★★★ A must-try gem in NYC!Salswee had been on the top of my list for a while, so the moment I landed in NYC, I made a beeline straight there — and wow, it did *not* disappoint. We sampled a mix of flavors to get the full experience: mushroom, orange, mango, and pear. Each one was filled with this dreamy, custard-like filling inside a beautifully shaped pastry — delicate, fresh, and packed with flavor. Honestly, they were all amazing, but if I *had* to pick a favorite? The orange takes the crown — bright, zesty, and perfectly balanced. The pastry selection is massive (seriously, good luck choosing just one), and their coffee? Absolute fire. Smooth, bold, and the perfect match for the sweets. If you’re in NYC and love pastries with personality, Salswee is 100% worth the hype.
July 28 · Manja PetrovBest desserts I’ve ever had. The realistic fruit dessert tastes just like the real fruit and I could tell they had high quality ingredients. The line reached the entrance door but it moved really fast and the service was the friendliest! I can’t wait to go back! The only thing is that it was kind of hot inside I’m not sure if there was an issue with the AC or because the place was packed. Just a couple minutes after seating the dessert was sweating and the crunchy chocolate cover was turning soft.
