This establishment is a prime example of a new wave of dining that is both high-end and unpretentious, creating a unique and memorable atmosphere that makes every visit feel like a special occasion.
The restaurant's ambiance is a major draw, with a "maximalist design" that creates a richly layered and theatrical setting. The decor and music are consistently praised by customers, who describe the vibe as "10/10." The interior, designed by the acclaimed studio Fettle, unfolds like a journey, with distinct rooms that have their own mood and color palette, from a velvet-curtained entryway to a chandelier-lit main dining room. The aural experience is also a key part of the design, with a high-fidelity audio system that ensures a rich soundscape without feeling overwhelmingly noisy. Sirrah's commitment to creating a complete sensory experience is evident in every detail, from the decor to the tableware and the lighting.
Sirrah’s dining concept is built around a multi-course prix fixe menu, which takes the guesswork out of ordering and allows guests to fully enjoy their meal. The menu is a modern take on French bistro classics, with options like perfectly cooked branzino, delicious steak, and a unique mushroom entree. The "truffle fries" are a consistent highlight, praised for being "abundantly scattered" and "the highlight" of the meal, often playfully showered across the table. The restaurant also offers a great "bar onsite," with a wide selection of cocktails, beer, hard liquor, and wine, ensuring the perfect pairing for every dish. The bar is known for its "great coffee," and the espresso martini is a customer favorite.
Located at 1 Little W 12th St, New York, NY 10014, USA, Sirrah enjoys a prime location in a bustling area known for its nightlife and high-end restaurants. Its location near the Meatpacking District and Chelsea makes it a popular spot for both a pre-club dinner or a destination in itself. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We made reservations for my husband’s birthday and it was perfect! From the greeting at the door, to every interaction with staff, the service was impeccable. There is pre fixe menu and it was excellent. The branzino was perfectly cooked, tender and light. The steak delicious with multiple sauces. The truffle fries were the highlight abundantly scattered across your table with a generous shaving of black truffle on top. The wine was perfectly paired with our meal. The dessert was delicious the freshest berries and cream. The decor, vibe, and music were great too!
August 21 · Pilar BelhumeurLoved everything about this restaurant. The ambience, the service, the food everything was 10/10. Me and my friends loved the fry tower!! we called it “girl dinner” lol Highly recommend coming here. Also, the espresso martini was so so good. The only thing that was iffy was the restaurant was a little hard to find at first because it was dark and raining, and there was no light by the restaurant door. Overall, we loved it though!
September 10 · T’Asia BurrellSirrah is a fun night out and a great spot for big groups. It’s a fixed menu of a really great steak and delicious dessert with unlimited Fries. There’s a salad as a started but it was pretty forgettable. The design is chic and the staff were extremely attentive and friendly. all in all highly recommend to check it out.
August 12 · Doron MagenWow—just had an incredible meal at Sirrah, the new restaurant on Little W 12th St / Gansevoort St. The steak was cooked perfectly (rare+), the mushroom steak was outstanding, and every side—salad, fries, desserts—was spot on. Beautiful space, flawless service, and very fair prices. We’ll definitely be back soon with the kids.
September 15 · Eli KleinOverall amazing experience. The food was tasty...although it is a set menu. We started with a French onion soup in a tea cup, then had a green salad and fresh bread, then for the main course we had the option of steak or branzino. The steak was slightly less flavorful than I wished (it had 3 sauces on the side...so probably my lack of usage of those), but the branzino was really good. The main course came with unlimited fries as an auto-added side dish. They serve them messy so they fall all over the table which is fun. We also got the roasted carrots which were really good. Desert was berries and cream...simple but yummy. And for drinks we got 4 different cocktails, all of which were very good! A good spot for a fancy dinner, date, or going out for fancy cocktails 🍸
