Smokey’s Brick-B-Que Introduce
For New York families and tourists visiting the Orange County area, particularly those spending a day at LEGOLAND® New York Resort, Smokey’s Brick-B-Que offers a delicious and convenient solution for lunch or dinner. This American restaurant provides a much-needed haven for savory, satisfying comfort food right within the theme park's Bricktopia area. Eschewing the typical fast-food fare often found at attractions, Smokey’s specializes in American-style barbecue and grill classics, a welcome sight for hungry groups.
The core of the menu revolves around their "Smokin' Hot Offerings," featuring hickory-smoked, quality meats. Patrons consistently highlight the beef brisket as "juicy and tender," while the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich is a classic go-to, though it's advised to check for consistency in moisture. The menu is structured to cater to both individuals seeking a quick bite and groups looking for a substantial meal. The Brick Trio Platter, which often includes a combination of smoked BBQ chicken, pork, and sausage, provides a fantastic sampler of their core competencies. Other substantial options include the Double Smash Cheeseburger W/ Fries and the Chicken Tenders & Fries Basket, ensuring that even non-barbecue enthusiasts find something to enjoy.
Smokey’s Brick-B-Que also thoughtfully includes lighter options and beloved theme park treats. Guests can opt for fresh Salads, such as the Classic Caesar or Mixed Greens Salad, or explore the "Everything Taco" section, which includes a Trio Taco Plate and a Veggie Burrito Bowl—demonstrating a surprising range for a dedicated BBQ spot. The Sides are as comforting as the main dishes, offering favorites like creamy Mac & Cheese, Smoked Brisket Baked Beans, and Ms. Kathy's Potato Salad. Finally, the Snacks & Desserts section is a major highlight, featuring classic theme park indulgences like Strawberry Topped Funnel Cake, Apple Cider Funnel Cake, and Jumbo Holiday Cookies, which are perfect for a sweet treat after a day of fun.
The restaurant is designed for the high-volume, casual atmosphere of a theme park. While it operates as a counter-service establishment (no table service), the speed is noted by patrons for being "Fast service," minimizing wait times and allowing families to get back to the park’s attractions quickly. The atmosphere is casual, and the space is purpose-built to accommodate the large crowds of groups and tourists that frequent the resort.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is a pretty alright barbecue place, with things like salad, pulled pork, kids meals and so on. On the food it’s a little spicy but the overall flavors are pretty strong and mild with alright portions sizes. Finally this place also has many condiments and some nice drink concession stands, so overall this is a pretty decent barbecue place.
July 06 · jayUpdated from July '22 Visit. The food taste ok, but they raised the price and reduced the amount of food by a lot.Original review from Aug '21:We liked the beef brisket the best, juicy and tender. The pulled pork was dry but the taste was good. We were surprised that the food was flavorful and didn't taste overly salty.
November 16 · MabelOK... this was over the top. The staff were friendly and so willing to help. The food was warm, tasty and generous. Place clean and open. Thanks for a great meal!
May 20 · Erick WebbThe majority of food was not good. The only decent thing was the beans. Good for getting out of the sun and for a drink.
July 31 · CharlieFood was decent but way overpriced and the portions were so small. One food item they wanted all the meat, beans and whatever else you get all on top of eachother (which was the only item that gave you at decent portion that’s why we went with that) but we didn’t want the food all in one container.June freaked out even though the manager said it was totally fine. We were getting the same portions but in separate containers so the food wasn’t mixing together and for some reason she thought acting like a child was the way to go.It said we had a choice of meat but she just grabs pork and throws it on the counter. I assume it’s for another person so I wait and the other cashier finally has to ask and clarify so I said no we wanted chicken no one ever asked us what meat we wanted yet. This snob June was so upset about her own mistakes that she threw away the food!! My friend after me was even getting the pork meal so she could have just waited two seconds but no. I highly suggest you consider having such a belligerent child work for your establishment
