September 05 · Stewart MansonWe stayed at the Holiday Inn for 4 nights, but we didn't discover St. George until the 3rd morning. We went both the 3rd and 4th mornings for breakfast. It was amazing. Each day we were greeted by Bernardo and Brian. Both were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made us feel right at home, and the service was super fast with endless offerings of refills on coffee and drinks. The portions were huge. When we weren't able to finish the full meals, they were quick to offer us a take out container. Everything was delicious, and it was very fast service, which we appreciated since we wanted to get moving for the day. The friendliness of the 2 guys made our mornings. From your 3 Canadian guests last week, thank you for some great meals and conversation!
August 19 · Kim MFood was decent, steak was over cooked, not medium rare as requested. Crab cakes were flat and thin, not worth it. French onion soup was good.
February 18 · Peter Yong (PedroJoven)Fantastic American restaurant (there is Chinese upstairs but the main restaurant is a typical menu). Great service, cosy feel and also has really tasty breakfast options for only ~10USD. I would highly recommend the Trio Slider Breakfast, and the potatoes on the side of most items are amazing!
November 26 · Trent LloydI wasn't expecting much given the small menu and lack of creative options but I must say I was very surprised given our food was outstanding. My son ordered the chicken fingers which were very good white meat tenderloins with a light breading. My wife and I shared a French onion soup(was very good and traditional in style) and the shrimp scampi, and the scampi was the highlight of our meal. The pasta was cooked perfectly 'al dente' and the addition of the asparagus and baby tomatoes were an unusual addition but tasted so good and really rounded out the dish. My wife who doesn't normally eat asparagus devoured them! The sauce was light with just the right amount of salt and the 5 shrimp were average in size and cooked well. This is the best scampi I've had in a long time.
