This is a coffee of one true love, and three names. We created it just for a Seattle restaurant in 1975, naming it Jake's Blend. And people loved it. So many, in fact, that we began hand scooping and blending it to order in our stores, where it was known as 80/20 Blend, for the recipe. The love was so strong we finally made it official, calling it Verona after the city that inspires so many. By any name, this is a thing of pure romance.
Espresso Roast
Notes of Rich Molasses & Caramel First created in 1975, this multi-region blend still serves as the foundation of our handcrafted espresso drinks in Starbucks stores around the world. Italian Roast

I walked in to this location and they usually are making drinks, there was one other guest inside. I ordered on my app which turned out to be a disaster. Ordered at 10:10am and pick up said 10:25 while I’m standing right in front of the staff. I asked a barista why it’s taking this long for one drink and she said that the Staten has changed and prioritizes cafe orders before drive thru and pick ups. Still made no sense to me why it would take that long but I didn’t complain. Just waited. Was given my drink and I left. As I sit on my bus and take a sip of a green tea frapp it’s overwhelmingly tasting like coffee. As a former Starbucks barista I’m assuming the wrong ingredients were used and now I’m out $9 and can’t even get a remake. Do better, even when you’re busy be diligent!! Not happy.

So...I got the falafel wrap.... honestly I thought it might be double the size...so it wasn't really worth it for me. I also ordered the pecan crunch latte, which was really yummy. The service was nice. When I ordered, I don't think the cashier heard me say iced pecan crunch latte and the barista immediately remade the order for me, when I told him I wanted an iced one. Hopefully one of them drank it or gave it to someone who wanted it, I was going to take it and would have hated if it was just poured out.Thank you for the nice customer service.

Poor service and the counter tops are untidy and need organizing. I said light ice, she did half the cup with liquid and filled it ice, when I told her, light ice, she was getting upset. Why pay for a drink to get more ice? I told her that’s unfair. She threw some out, and added milk, the drink tasted more like milk than the flavor of what I bought.

I’ve been coming to this location since they opened. Often times it’s messy inside. When asked for light ice I’m given half a cup of ice. My drink is never mixed resulting in it being warm. They are supposed to be open daily at 5:30am today I arrived at 5:50am and was rudely greeted by two opening employees and told they were closed. I asked what time do they open I was told 6:30 today. For a franchise with with posted hrs employees deciding what time they want to open day by day without prior notice isn’t acceptable for an establishment. I think I’ll start going to the 80th st location

Seems as some reviews are being erased. I reviewed this establishment a yr ago and I don’t see it. They had mediocre results then and it only getting worst!Update-Nov 24: Went in this time as previously we had issues when my son ordered. Ordered my regular morning Honey Mint tea (medicine ball). Told the cashier my order—she asked what size & I stated “grande” she replied “venti”. I said “no, grande”. Paid and low and behold when I picked up it was a VENTI. Guess there’s no point in asking the CUSTOMER what they want if the cashier is choosing for you! Then when I corrected her as I’m picking up she states “oh apologies”. Moved on because it’s too early to be problematic and not actual satisfaction rendered. As I got to my car and tasted the drink, was hoping it made up for the mediocre service. Nope, just as terrible; she placed too much lemonade so it had this acidic taste and I couldn’t even taste the honey or mint to balance the drink out. I understand bad days but can we at least TRY to do better!As for atmosphere, it was very dreary. And I understand it was a rainy morning. However, not as “bright” as most Starbucks I’ve visited. They have no chairs or tables if you wanted to take a seat whilst waiting for your order to be made. Or no standing bars to lean against.Be wary of the 5-star ratings w/o a descriptive answer/statement. They are fake! Also, seem from the personnel of Indian descent.
