★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1They have variety of drinks and some cold sandwiches. My wife had yuzu sofa, myself matcha capuccino, and we had the mushroom sandwich + mushroom sandwich. The sandwiches are bit overpriced at about $20 each but they were surprisingly decent. Good service and goo vibe. I would recommend this spot for quick sit-down and eating while checking out the museum.
August 10 · Woo Young KimThis is a beautiful cafe on the ground floor of the Whitney Museum. I ordered the chicken salad and it was completely tasteless. There was chicken in the salad and also extra chicken on top of the salad. The extra chicken was moist but also tasteless. It was like it had been boiled. My husband ordered the steak sandwich which was very good. We ordered side of bread which was excellent. Our server was snippy at times. When it came time to pay, the machine gave me options to tip 20%, 25% or custom. What? I have never seen this. Usually you see 10%, 15% or 20%.If you want convenience and a beautiful setting eat here; otherwise, opt for the dozens of restaurants nearby.
May 03 · Cristie CarlisleExtremely over priced for what it is but you’re paying for conscience. I do give it 3 stars because the service is impeccable and the atmosphere is beautiful as you are surrounded by a lot of natural light. There are so many amazing restaurants nearby that I would say you should save your money for unless you can’t be bothered and are already in the museum and are desperate for food. The food is not bad at all but I would not say it’s worth the price point.
August 05 · JasonSolid restaurant by Danny Meyer. Came here for brunch and found a good variety of options to choose from. We sat at the Chef’s Table (kitchen) which was a cool experience. Service is attentive and very friendly, environment is very trendy. My group ordered the Grilled She Wolf Sourdough (MUST HAVE), Montauk Blackfish Poke, Celery Root & Apple Soup, Soft Scrambled Eggs, Shiitake Mushroom Flatbread, Grilled Shrimp Lettuce Wraps and Chili Roasted Scallops. All were decent to small size portions that we were able to share together. The Poke was ok, not something I would have again but good nonetheless. If I didn’t make it clear, you must have the Sourdough bread with honey butter. Another stellar dish is the Chili Roasted Scallops. SO SO good! Overall, a really awesome restaurant inside the new Whitney Museum. Bonus points, it is a no tipping restaurant 👍🏽 Come here if you want to impress your parents!
October 30 · Gina PepeI make a point to grab food here during my annual visit to the Whitney. Great atmosphere. Great staff. Excellent food. Fun museum.
