★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I usually don't buy from korean banchan shops, but this spot is has become an exception. I was recommended to try here by my mother, who is in fact, very particular about her banchan (side dishes).Right off the bat, the place is very clean and well organized. We've already tried several items from their ready made banchan to their made-to-order food (kimbap, pork buns, bento boxes). I love how clean everything tastes. I especially like to call ahead to order fresh kimbap. Their pork buns were also surprisingly so delicious.
August 05 · LeslieCute, clean, fresh and delicious! Great customer service as well. Everything tastes homemade with high quality ingredients. We stopped by to pick up lunch after a Hmart run and it didn't disappoint. We got the kimchi buns, squid kimbap, and the pork belly lunch box. The owner gave us a free order of fried vegetables! We also purchased the white kimchi from the fridge section which is going to be my go to for kimchi. Overall, a great spot to pick up Korean side dishes, lunch items to go and random snacks. We will be back!!
September 28 · Tiffany Q. LiuWas excited to try given the positive reviews but was thoroughly let down. Spicy jeyuk wasn’t spicy; instead it was extremely salty. The portions were good but couldn’t finish because of the taste. Kimbap was also mediocre - tuna was sour and couldn’t even taste the bulgogi. Wanted to be a regular but will not be coming back.
July 12 · Annie WangThis is a haven for korean side dishes and street food. Take out grab and go is a plus but their freshly prepped dishes is the main draw and complement your home family meals. They dont use preservatives and use organic, local produce for the health conscious diet.
August 09 · Final VerseTastes just like my mom’s cooking at home! The bulgogi kimbap is the best in New York, and the soup, kimchi, side dishes, jeon, and everything else are all delicious. 👍😄😍
