Tagliare Introduce
For New Jersey residents and travelers navigating the hustle of Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), finding a quick, recognizable, and reasonably priced meal is often the key to a stress-free journey. Tagliare, located within the high-traffic Terminal C, is a dedicated Pizza restaurant that fills this essential niche. Positioning itself as a source of classic American Comfort food, Tagliare serves up pizza by the slice, making it an ideal option for those needing a Quick bite during a layover or before boarding a flight.
Situated in the airside (post-security) area of the terminal, Tagliare is a crucial part of the EWR dining ecosystem, particularly for passengers departing from or connecting through the gates in the C120-139 vicinity. It offers a straightforward menu focused on pizza, a perennial favorite that provides high 'value per volume' in an expensive airport environment, as noted by local customers. The restaurant caters to the Lunch and Dinner crowds, providing a substantial, simple, and satisfying meal for Solo dining or for families.
While the atmosphere is casual—typical of a quick-service Airport restaurant—its core function is to provide rapid food service. The focus is on functionality and speed, acknowledging that many customers are "Tourists" with limited time. For New Jersey travelers, Tagliare represents a familiar food category, a reliable grab-and-go option when gourmet dining is neither practical nor desired.

### What is Worth Choosing
For a New Jersey traveler at EWR Terminal C, choosing Tagliare is a practical decision driven by necessity and value. In the ecosystem of airport dining, where prices can be inflated and quick service is paramount, Tagliare excels at offering a simple, substantial, and fast meal.
It is worth choosing when time is limited and you require a high 'value per volume' meal. While customers have noted the pizza is often "mediocre" and sometimes can be excessively greasy—qualities sometimes associated with high-volume, quick-serve airport food—the rapid speed and affordable price for a large slice of pizza are often deemed a worthwhile trade-off, especially given the costs of surrounding dining options. When a traveler's primary need is a hot, filling meal without breaking the bank or missing a flight, Tagliare stands out as the dependable choice for classic pizza comfort in the Terminal C gate area.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1SOAKED in grease like I’ve never seen. Absolutely saturated. Squishy. The whole slice was watery whatever the hell that was about. If I served this to someone I’d off myself in dishonor. $8.Real tough keeping Coca cola in stock especially after you already paid for it. Specialty item I guess.
October 20 · Jon SavoyIt's edible, mediocre pizza. For a meal at Newark airport, good luck finding better value per volume. $5+tax for a big slice of cheese. The dough was sub-parr but not awful, and fully cooked. It could use more tomato sauce, and the cheese was not the best quality, but it's clear you're not going to get a gourmet slice when you order. I ordered at 11:30am and the pizzas were rather fresh out of the oven (they heat it up regardless). I didn't interact with the staff, so I cannot attest to their professionalism.2/5 stars for the pizza, 4/5 stars for the price and speed.
April 30 · Katie GuzzettaEasy operating kiosk to place order and pay. Guy was nice and held down the fort alone. Can't escape the airport prices and ordered an expensive $30 plain pie. They got me. The pizza was hot, but lacked any tomato sauce, like eating cheese bread. You get what you get at the airport.
July 04 · A EngGO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Truly the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. I watched the employee and it took him 10 minutes to acknowledge my order before he put it in the oven. There was another employee standing in front to direct people to order through the QR code. After a 15 minute total wait, my egg and cheese Stromboli didn’t even have cheese on it.
November 24 · Conner CastagnoGood value pizza place in the airport. I recommend getting the squares over the slices. Ask for a box if on the go. Otherwise they serve it on a paper plate
