★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Amazing family owned place that hasn’t let me down across multiple visits. Lamb and chicken korma are on point - naan is excellent - and they are willing to throw a lot of spice at me which I love. Hidden gem that is definitely worth a visit - a little bit no frills, but the food is the focus.
September 07 · Tim ReillyI came in here to buy some frozen momo to take home to my boyfriend, as he hasn’t had the opportunity to try momo yet, and I always try to bring some of the food from Queens to him. Gotta diversify his palate and put him on to the goods! The people in here are very friendly, they accept card or cash for purchase and have fresh cooked food items and also they had momo that I was able to buy frozen for easier transport.
May 26 · Mary NaughtonStumbled upon Taste of Nepal when I spotted Nepali donuts from the street—had to go in!We ordered donuts, chiya, syabhale, momo, and the dhido thaali. Everything was amazing. Initially, we planned on getting one rice thaali and one dhido thaali, but since rice would take 30 minutes, we ended up with two dhido thaalis instead. While the thaali was just okay, everything else was absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back for more! The bathroom however is not something I’d ever want to use. The smell, the sight, the proximity to the kitchen, all were a big turn off for me.
March 18 · Ria AdhikariMy guests from away now understand why I keep coming back here. Their cooking creates wonderful flavors. The staff approached with genuine friendliness. I was stunned by how delicious everything was. The complete meal was excellent.
September 15 · Shelley HarrisonThis is the best authentic Nepali cuisine in Jackson Heights NYC so far. We visited the place to have our dinner.food was absolutely delicious and of course it was the authentic taste. We really enjoyed all our meal. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing that was kind of an issue was that there was 1 toilet downstairs. So, there was quite wait to use it. Also the stairs were quite steep. Soyou have to be careful. Nevertheless, the service and food was the best.
