Taste of Paris Coffeehouse Introduce
The **Taste of Paris Coffeehouse** offers the Queens community a unique, locally focused cafe experience right on the border of Queens and Long Island. Unlike the large, bustling chains that dominate the New York coffee scene, this spot—which opened in 2022—is truly a neighborhood gem. It's the kind of small local business where the employees know the customers by name, fostering a quiet, familiar, and genuinely friendly atmosphere that feels like a welcome escape from the city rush. The cafe aims to provide a relaxed setting where patrons can indulge in specialty coffee, tea, and a selection of French-inspired and classic pastries.
While the cafe is still establishing its aesthetic, with a noted preference by the owners for a simple, minimal design, its primary appeal lies in its personal touch and dedicated service. For residents in the Bellerose Manor area of Queens, it quickly becomes a regular, reliable stop. Patrons appreciate the effort put into the coffee and baked goods, even if availability can sometimes vary. For instance, the cinnamon roll is often praised for being "pretty good, soft and not too sweet," reflecting a commitment to quality ingredients. The staff, like the friendly employee "Michelle" mentioned by a customer, are a key asset, contributing to the high marks for customer service.
The menu leans heavily into creative specialty lattes and classic coffee drinks, alongside a modest but appealing pastry selection. It caters to a local crowd that values a quiet spot for socializing or catching a moment of peace during the day. Despite some minor challenges regarding menu item availability (like the highly anticipated croissant) or seasonal rotations (such as the Crème Brûlée Iced Latte not being offered in summer), the Taste of Paris Coffeehouse thrives on its intimate, local charm and the personal connection it cultivates with its customer base.

Taste of Paris Coffeehouse Reviews
I live around the neighborhood for a while, and didn’t noticed of this cafe until my boyfriend mentioned it. One thing I noticed that there’s no pictures hang ( which I was told the owners don’t want pics hang). I like the light feature, unique. I also noticed there’s a few things they need to fixed. They open back in 2022, and when I sat down, one thought on mind is this will be consider a small local cafe, since every person that walked in, they know the employee. Which is ok, since it’s quiet outside. One thing that I was disappointed was about the croissant which they didn’t had at the moment, so I ordered a cinnamon roll, pretty good, soft and not too sweet. I ordered the coconut latte with regular milk and it was ok. That’s why my rate is 4.5 since the employee, (which I think her name is Michelle) is friendly with the customers.I normally very vocal when it comes to cafe or bakery that has to do with Paris, and I could say this place needs a little bit of work in design. I’m not saying go all the way but a little touch with some pics of the food they have and Paris scenes it would be a good idea.Needless to say, I have to come back to taste the croissant..
September 22 · Lilly fernandezI came here specifically for the crème brûlée iced latte, but unfortunately, they didn’t have it. I tried the everything croissant and the spinach croissant — heads up, the “everything croissant” is a sweet cheese danish with everything seasoning on top. Definitely not what I expected and way too sweet. Also, the iced coffee cups looked nothing like the ones in the photos or past reviews…a bit disappointing. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this placeOwners response: Did you look at the menu at the cafe? Must be a first time visit. we do not sell that drink during the summer. It's like walking into Starbucks and asking for a pumpkin spice latte during summer.HAHAHASo you’re comparing your locally owned business to Starbucks? That’s wild. Also, you never mentioned the drink was seasonal when I ordered, you just said you were out. I actually tried to be generous by giving 3 stars, but based on your response, 1 star is more accurate. This place really isn’t worth it. Save yourself the trouble and just go to Starbucks instead. 😂
July 11 · Amrin IslamTaste of Paris is literally what it sounds like. I travel for coffee and was trying to find the perfect coffee on Long Island and it’s this. Everyone is always so nice and the coffee’s are always consistent. I pay for an uber to get here everyday lol. That’s how fresh and good it is. Coconut banana iced latte. Sounds gross but my creation and salted caramel latte is bomb as well. You’ll think I’m crazy until you try it. (Also to get the fun cup you have to get a large but it’s worth it since it doesn’t spill.)
August 10 · Ryan LaheyMy initial review: I am very concerned about the food safety situation here. My family was sold strawberries with mold hidden under chocolate.Owner’s reply: “You paid $5.99 for your order through another app for discount price. This not something we have control of the strawberry.”My response: You should have integrity and take responsibility for what you sell. I paid more than that. I wonder at what price point you decide to sell moldy food versus not moldy food.
March 05 · C ChanI love this coffee shop, its my #1 local spot for a drink or a small treat the barista that works here is amazing she has the best service and is always pleasant to talk with. Great recommendation.
September 23 · Erika RileyA neighborhood gem. Bummed I didn’t try this place sooner but really glad I finally did. They were out of matcha but I happened to want coffee so it worked out. I can be a bit of a coffee snob and the Cherry Coconut Latte (seasonal and I got it with almond milk) was delicious. A lot of places mask the roast with add-ins and toppings that are way too sweet. This was done JUST RIGHT. $8 for 20oz - worth it. I’ll be back to try the seasonal rotations! But this might be a favorite 🍒🥥
