★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Small place. Went last summer and it wasn't really a cool place to cool off. The Bartender was not friendly, very quiet kinda off putting and to be quite honest wasn't sure if he even spoke English? Very limited menu. He wouldn't leave the water bottle/pitcher so we kept on having to ask for water refills.
February 25 · Steph RIt's a fantastic spot to relax and unwind. The bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly, and the drinks are expertly crafted. Five stars!
March 16 · Juan QuirozFrom the Brooklyn Bridge, on the Brooklyn side, you can see an ice cream shop called Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory… but in the building there mainly is a restaurant caled The Buzz Bar. And it’s not the same business, meanning you can’t have an ice cream in the restaurant nor can you order fries from the ice cream shop window… no comment…We actually came for an ice cream but My son was hungry so my wife decided to go in and order something.Estefania and I didn’t want to eat too much but since we were there we ordered hot wings. Kai ordered an egg sandwich and some fries. What the waiter didn’t tell us is that there were fries with the sandwich already, so we ended up with 2 shares of fries instead of 1 as we wanted.I didn’t try my son’s sandwich. But the wings were just bad. The fries were ok, let’s say.The service was very slow and, although there are like 10 items on the menu (at the most), the waiter didn’t seem to know them…Finally, I found it very expensive: $12 for 5 small (and bad) wings, $12 for a very little egg sandwich…!Really not ok.Quality & taste: 3/10Quantities: 3/10Atmosphere: 7/10Originality: 2/10Ratio price / quality: 3/10Service: 4/10How I felt afterwards: 3/10More on IG @runnerandfoodie
February 12 · Mathieu MuraccioleMy daughter wanted ice cream, so I ordered one. While I was pulling out cash from my wallet, I set my iced Americano(bought in nearby %Arabica coffee) on a nearby table by the counter—literally for less than a minute—just long enough to pay and hand the ice cream to my kid. In that tiny window of time, a cleaning lady swooped in and took my coffee away.I asked her where my coffee was, and she casually said, “I put it by the window.” I looked around—nothing. When I asked again, she suddenly ran off to the restroom like she was avoiding me. Then the white owner shows up, hears the story, and says outside drinks aren’t allowed so they probably tossed it. Then he smugly tells me, “If you want coffee, have ours.”I told him, “I wasn’t here to drink my coffee. I was buying YOUR ice cream and just put it down for a moment,” but he still insisted on lecturing me about their no-outside-food policy. So apparently, in this place, they’ll throw away your drink without asking, run away when confronted, and then try to sell you theirs. Was it that they desperately wanted to sell me another coffee? Or maybe they had some petty grudge against the %Arabica café next door?Either way, what a ridiculous excuse for customer service. I’ve never dealt with such nonsense in my life.
August 11 · Jason LeeOne of the most underrated, peaceful places to take refuge in DUMBO. The service at the bar is fantastic, and the food is great! I highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area.
