The Corner Deli Introduce
Introduction / Overview
The Corner Deli is a small, local business located on 65th Place in Flushing, New York. As a quintessential neighborhood spot, it serves as a place for residents to grab a few quick items without the need for a major trip. Like many small delis and bodegas throughout the city, it aims to provide a mix of basic groceries and prepared items, catering to the needs of its immediate community. The business primarily focuses on takeout service, recognizing the fast-paced nature of New York life where convenience is key. It's the type of place you might pop into on your way home for a single item or a quick snack. The deli accepts modern payment methods, including credit and debit cards, making a swift transaction simple and efficient. While its primary function is to serve the immediate needs of the neighborhood, the deli's existence is a testament to the hyper-local economies that thrive in the city's residential areas. It is important to note that, as a small, independent establishment, its offerings and service may vary, reflecting the unique character of such businesses. For those who live nearby, The Corner Deli can be a convenient option for a last-minute need, but it's best to go in with a clear idea of what you're looking for and to manage expectations accordingly.
Location and Accessibility
The Corner Deli is situated on 65th Place in Flushing, NY 11377. This location is nestled within a residential part of Queens, making it a neighborhood spot that is primarily accessible to those living within walking distance. It is not a major destination and is most often frequented by local residents seeking a quick, on-the-go solution. The nature of the street and the surrounding area means that foot traffic is limited to those in the immediate vicinity. For people in the neighborhood, the deli is easily reachable by a short walk, which is a key factor in its business model as a "quick visit" destination. Given its residential location, public transportation options are likely not as direct as they would be for a business on a major thoroughfare, and parking can be a challenge. The deli’s small size and placement on a quiet street means it serves a highly specific and local need, distinguishing it from larger grocery stores or more destination-oriented delis. Its presence on 65th Place ensures it remains a hyper-local resource, serving the day-to-day needs of its community members.

What is worth choosing
The Corner Deli is a place that is worth choosing primarily for its convenience and location for a highly specific purpose. For a resident of 65th Place in Flushing, it is an option for a quick, last-minute purchase of a basic item like a drink or a snack without having to go to a larger supermarket. The ease of a quick stop, especially if you're on foot, is the deli's main selling point. The fact that it accepts credit and debit cards is also a major plus, making transactions effortless and quick. However, it is essential to be aware of the deli's limitations. Customer reviews have noted significant concerns regarding the freshness and quality of certain products, from pre-packaged goods to perishable items. Some patrons have reported issues with expired food and a general lack of freshness, which may impact the overall experience. The service, as mentioned in customer feedback, can also be a point of concern. Therefore, while it serves a practical purpose for a speedy transaction, it is advisable for customers to be cautious and to manage their expectations. The deli's primary value lies in its role as a convenient, hyper-local establishment for a very specific type of purchase, rather than as a place for a full grocery run or a high-quality meal.

The Corner Deli Reviews
I have been living near this Corner Deli for many years and I DO NOT shop there. Everything I ever bought there taste really bad. It's as if they do not stock their food with fresh items. As if they buy all their stuff second hand very cheap after a lot of it has expired. The smell of the food even sugar I bought there once smelled and tasted really old and even had a weird smell I can not describe. The same happened with milk, eggs and even bread. You would think they would have at least fresh bread. I really don't know how they stay in business there. Maybe they own the house above the store and the store is part of the house so they have nothing to lose if almost no one goes in there and are just waiting for some dumb person that does not know about their none fresh garbage to buy something from them. In my opinion, they should be shut down. That is a scary place. I never see anyone walk in there. It is the craziest business I've ever seen. If you don't believe what I'm saying go in there and buy stuff like mayonaise, bread and some canned food and some milk. I'll bet all those things will want to make you vomit after smelling it or eating it.
August 03 · David SavianWalked in and purchased 4 things…. apple juice… muffins… peanut butter crackers and a honeybun…. I eat the muffins first and the taste is a lil off but I’m rushing to my car so watever… I open the crackers take a bite and they’re stale… so now I’m concerned that brand of crackers doesnt have dates on the wrappers…. I check my honey bun and the date is APRIL 2022 ….. We ARE IN JUNE… and that could’ve been an honest mistake but when I walked back in the guy checked the honeybuns stocked and assures me that they all have newer dates like I didn’t just hand him cash for one of the same items 5 minutes prior…. So I walk over to the crackers and show them how old they are and they asked me if I wanted to replace them for something else…. Smh crazy experience
